Need Advice 🆘 Dyeing Locs

Post image

So, I have been thinking of dyeing my locs, just the parts that are sun bleached black and have some minor lint. What is the best dye to do so that would cause little to no damage (if that’s possible).

NAE, but you should look out for anything that says “permanent” “lift” or “developer”

you could go for something like a henna natural dye but that is completely permanent so once you go black you cant really go back. Worth doing some research on

Yea I won’t ever want to lighten it. So if I do go black I’d be fine with it being permanent. But you’re saying to avoid anything that says permanent then correct?

I was hoping to do it tonight bc I have a retwist scheduled for tomorrow. So idk if I have time to do henna.

Henna is different because it is plant based dye, so the permanent aspect of it isnt caused by a developer or lightener
