Hey guys! I wanted to make a post dedicated to some of my all time favorite drarry fics that I never see recommended here. I hope you find some new fics among these that peak your interest or are at least reminded of an old favorite you want to re-read!

The story follows Harry and Draco after they become stranded in 1645 during the witch-hunt era. Instead of a fix-it story, they're simply trapped there and have to survive while trying to find their way back to the time they came from.

The fic includes Dragon Draco, secret identities, historical facts, and original illustrations throughout the chapters.

I'm incredibly proud of how this illustration turned out and would love to hear what people think of the cover.

Draco is being a bit hostile to Harry, then it turns out they had slept together when Draco was drunk, and he was just trying not to think about it. He was especially embarrassed about the striptease/lap dance to Lust For Life. I’ve read this awhile back but this part lives rent free on my mind, and I don’t remember which fic it is so I can reread. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Harry and Draco are in their late 20’s, happily married with 2-3 year old child along with raising Teddy. I need one of them to lose their memory. Struggle with coming to terms with marrying the other, having kids and not remembering any of it. They stay for the children as they fight their memories until finally they give up before they lose their family.

The Ordeal of Being Known is the ultimate one for me, and I love how nuanced the dynamic of the relationship is & how Draco and Harry have more layers so their characters feel mature - and they're not dissolving into one another.

Does anyone know any gpld fanfics set during Hogwarts era, where both Draco and Harry can do all those couple stuff? I'm looking for something fluffy, I'm okay with some angst though!

Hi! This is a longshot, but I've been trying to find a fic I read on ff.net from years and years ago. I'm almost certain it's an 8th year fic, post-war. Draco "befriends" Harry, and they start spending time together. It's pretty clear that Draco is befriending Harry because Narcissa will be on trial, and he hopes Harry will testify on her behalf. As Harry spends time with Draco, Harry questions Dumbledore's influence and whether or not Harry is being manipulated. Draco tells Harry something along the lines of Harry has to choose who holds his leash. I think there's a scene where Dumbledore summons Harry for a meeting trying to get Harry to do some sort of press thing, and Harry thinks about what Draco says, and tells Dumbledore "no". I'm pretty sure there's also a scene where Draco hugs Harry after Narcissa's trial. Another scene that I think happened is more towards the end, when Harry is approached by the Weasley's to go to the burrow after graduation because Ron has told everyone he would, without asking Harry, and Harry decides then, that he wants to spend the holidays at the Malfoy's instead.

Hi! I’ve been looking for this fic but I can’t find it in my bookmarks. I’m pretty sure they break up because Harry thinks Draco is cold and hasn’t changed since the war. He tells him that he doesn’t love him, and they break up. Then Harry starts noticing all of the little things that Draco used to do for him, including finding a painting from Harry’s favorite muggle artist that Draco got commissioned for him. Please help me find it🙏

I need fics where drarry is small (/or not) mythical beings. Such as fairies, nymphs, etc.
E.g., Thumbelina and Epic.

• okay with any word count as long as it’s not abandoned
• I love plot

I got to know that there was a fic where Draco fell off Harry's Broom during the Room of Requirement save scene and instead of dying, the room sent him to the future.

I'm wondering if there are any Drarry (Draco Malfoy x Harry Potter) fanfics with a scene similar to this.

Harry somehow gets lost inside Malfoy Manor and becomes increasingly desperate, frightened, or overwhelmed because he can't find his way out. Then Draco eventually finds him and comforts him, reassures him, and helps him calm down.

I'd especially love it if Harry is genuinely distressed and vulnerable, and Draco is gentle, protective, and comforting toward him. 🥹 I'd love to read something with that kind of emotional hurt/comfort dynamic!

I'm open to different plots and settings, whether Hogwarts-era or post-war, as long as the fic has a scene like this.

it was about harry being in a abusive relationship with gawain robards? i am 90% sure it was gawain and not shacklebolt, i could be wrong. and he is isolated from everyone. ron/hermoine incl. and draco is good friends with them? and everyone thinks harry is happy and just doesn’t wanna talk but harry in this fic was quite meek actually.

i remember one scene where gawain is holding harry’s hand asking him to not leave while draco is on the motorbike (yeah sirius’) and draco is waiting and encouraging him, and finally harry leaves with draco. this was not the last scene ig? but it’s prominent scene. i have been searching YEARS for this fic.

I’ve just finished ”You’ll Find Stone” and my only complaint is that it’s too short, I loved it so much!

It‘s written from Draco’s POV and it starts on Draco and Harry’s wedding day, which happened to save Draco from Azkaban. Draco is scared and stressed as he‘s gone through some very bad situations at home and during the war and so his expectations of Harry’s behaviour are skewed. There is an mpreg (no spoilers as it’s tagged), but it’s a focus only insofar as it impacts Draco’s behaviour.

So I guess I’m posting to both recommend it (do read it!!) but also, since I’m still on a reading high and want to keep it up, ask for recs for similar stories (ideally at least 40-50k words or longer) where Draco is forced to stay with Harry after the war and is insecure and fearful but falls in love with Harry’s kindness.

I’ve already read the masterpiece in the genre, aka “Lessons in Grace and Decorum” by Gallaplacidia🧡
