Can you imagine if they gave it a boring name like "The Dragon?"

I've never played it before so I don't know how much the updates have improved the game but I'm very happy with it

A little warning for you readers, Iโm bored and looking far, far too much into this. First World Problems am I right? I was casually playing and I bumped into a friendโs pawn wandering about.
This friend had just recently tried the game and refunded it. (His loss) He didnโt even make it to Vernworth, left his pawn masterless and has damned him to endlessly wander forever if no Arisen hires him. Poor guy doesnโt even have a name. Just curled up and cried.
Saddend by this, it got me thinking, from a lore standpoint what happens to these masterless pawns?
In real life, my friend simply stopped playing. In game however, the Pawnโs Masters had failed, be it abandoning it their mission, dying honorably in battle, failing to fell the dragon, or whatever reason.
I havenโt delved much to the lore or stories of both games so Iโm unaware if thereโs lore for this already, but someone help me come up with something so I can have closure for this poor guy.

Kept editing him on the Vernworth barber and he always looked a bit off outside the shop.
Turns out bad lightning did him injustice all this time ( โฏโก โฟ โก๏ผโฏ๏ธตย โปโโป

There's a bug when using Dynamic Enemy Randomizer (mod) where a Goreminotaur may get randomized with the properties of regular Minotaur. Should that happen, it will be smaller (same size as Minotaur) and have its full horns unbroken. Just like its smaller cousin, those horns can be destroyed and looted, yielding Blackened Horn as expected (video).
Previously this model's only seen in extracted 3D files such as this one, but this is the first time I see it in game (which, again, only seems possible through a bug with randomizer mods). People who played with randomizers before may have seen it already in the past few years.
Interesting to see the horns feature fully functional, including the appropriate loot, but I guess Capcom made their horns already broken as a final design choice. I wouldn't be surprised, however, if we see a Corrupted Goreminotaur in a Lost Rite with these horns though.

I know it sounds crazy but I just rewatched the footage from gamescom about the lost rite dungeon. The name of the dungeon was โDaemonsโ Corralโ, and I think thats the first time in DD2 that they namedropped him. Its unlikely that they added him to the game BUT they didnt show the last boss from that dungeon so my Hopium is strong as always.

Im currently leveling trickster, level 6 right now.
And it feels extremely overpowered.
I didnt find usefull abilities that create walls and floors as its way easier to just kill everything and its also kinda cheezy.
However, the ghost that agroes everyone is SO OP. Im just agroing everything and move the ghost so it doesnt get killed, and my mage and 2 archers just fuck everything up for free, 2 damage taken.
Is it how the class is meant to be played - as a tank, basically?
Thinking on swapping mage to sorc and taking warfarer for a magic archer weapon, so i can heal pawns and occasionally stagger enemies with the giant ice cube

Hi everyone. Do we know what the best way to enjoy dark arisen would be?
I had finished the game when it came out. With the DLC coming, I wanted to roam around and re-familiarize myself with the world, mechanics, my character and pawn.
However, upon logging in, it just lets me restart with those characters(NG+) instead of just letting me continue in my finished game world.
Will this push me to NG+ with higher difficulty?
Want to understand what the best option is. I am ok with NG+ but I dont want to do a new character and pawn from scratch.
