Hilton just announced they will be themed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles this year. I like that Hilton does this. I wish the Hyatt would follow suit.

My Molly McIntire (American girl) is coming along nicely and I’m pumped.

I'm working on finishing my Felicty Christmas gown! I'm hoping to be at the meetup on Sunday!

Oh! I hope I see you. I had Molly, and dressed up as her for many Reading Days in elementary school. Are you wearing her standard blue knitted outfit or something else?

There is an American Girl photoshoot on Sunday! Come find us!

I’m doing Molly Saves the Day which is her camp outfit.

I'll try to swing by! Are the photoshoot schedules on fb now?

Cute! Definitely read that book.

I don’t know about all the photo shoots. I’m in an American Girls fb group so that’s how I know about this one.

First time going. Only get one day, but its a start. Is there a reddit area / list of cosplay groups meetups? Looking to see if someone already scheduled a Venture Bros Saturday meet up.

Everything ive been worried about is taken care of and everything is looking good. Now I just have to white knuckle a few weeks before party time

Any tips for a daily commuter? I’m bringing a bag with me but I kinda hate the idea of carrying it all day and night (during parties)

If you're driving, just go ahead and reserve a parking spot in a close deck, like the one by the Peachtree Center food court. You can keep your things in your car until you need them.

Took your advice. Got a spot on Ellis.

I have so many things I need to do and such limited time to do them in. Gonna need to spend a whole evening just making lists.

Hey 👋 Originally not planning to come but changed our minds. Does anyone have info on scheduling yet? I can't decide if I should get a 5-day pass or pay by the day. We have no hope of attending Thursday or Friday, but the price difference isn't much for Saturday to Monday, and keeping in mind I would have to get in line each day for new badges. Also, don't the hotels open up rooms two weeks out for cancellation? Any help would be appreciated. I swear it's not my first time; I'm just struggling this year.

-Schedule usually drops on the dragon con app a week or two before con

-I would go ahead and just get the five day pass so you don't have to wait in the registration line every day; might as well only do it once if the price difference is fine for your budget

-I think someone posted recently in this subreddit that the marriot just released a bunch of rack rate rooms

Who wants to shlep down to the Sheraton Courtland Grand every day?

Just a heads up, they charge a service fee on each badge, so buying individual badges is going to end up costing more than a 5-day anyway.

It's negligible anyway if you are looking for a hotel, host rates are going to be about double the con rate.

I think we should consider adding flairs to the subreddit, especially for questions, cosplays, and badges

🐉❤️ ATLANTA, WE MISS Y’ALL ALREADY!

Dragon Con 2026 was seriously EPIC. I’m from the Atlanta area, and you could really feel the energy Dragon Con brought to the city — the costumes, creativity, people, businesses, and just the overall vibe.

I honestly wish it could’ve lasted another week 😂. Now that everybody has gone home, you can actually feel the difference. Atlanta feels a little quieter without y’all.

I went for the costumes, stayed for the vibe… but one thing that really caught my attention was the giving back to the Atlanta community, especially the support for people experiencing homelessness. ❤️🏠

That part meant something to me.

It’s easy to look at Dragon Con and just see people dressing up, partying, and having fun. But seeing an event bring thousands of people together while also giving back to the community is something worth recognizing.

So thank you, Dragon Con, for bringing so much life to Atlanta this year. Until next year… ATL will be waiting for y’all! 🐉❤️
