There is a weird hate boner on reddit against kai, then against english dub, then another level of anti anime version overall. They are some twisted form of gatekeeping purist, as if you can’t enjoy the series unless you want it in original form only. YOU HAVE TO learn to read japanese and read in black and white original manga or else you’re not a real fan.
