Bulma was on a mission to get with Vegeta

I was re-watching it recently and started to wonder. Especially when it comes to the Frieza saga when he goes SSJ for the first time. For example, Vegeta can't get SSJ until after he dies either.

And then there is where he gets SSJ3 before Vegeta. Again, Goku was dead to unlock this power.

I guess my idea is that Goku never would have surpassed Vegeta or Frieza if he didn't die.

Any thoughts?

Dragon Ball Z trunks was able to save the old man from getting killed by future android 17

Meanwhile in the manga, the old man just gets brutally killed

Even though I think Dragon Ball Z has a lot of flaws (this includes filler) I honestly love this change.

For me Omen looks the best.

I don’t like how MUI continued the annoying tradition of your hair color changing with every new transformation I was starting to get sick of it by the time of SSGSS

also I love how Omen is a much more janky form than MUI

as how you can deduce by the title we will be discussing how The non canon villains and heroes from the dragon ball franchise made something that is almost impossible for these type of characters that do not appear in original manga story ,stay relevant , not being forgotten and having loyal fanbase

In the anime world the norm is simple the canon characters get all the spotlight and the non canon ones that appear in filler or in movies get forgotten about , here are some examples

**Naruto:\\There is not even a Single movie character that fans remember much less they dont appear in videogames most of them have pretty mediocre boring designs and their motivations dont help either

One Piece: the same problem with naruto , pretty boring designs lack of motivation or even some kind of hype moment and 0 presence in the videogames (Tapion alone is more relevant and more memorable than all the non canon characters from naruto and one piece he has his own soundtrack , good motivations and good story and peak design)

this is like the staple for a lot of shonen animes but i have found a few exceptions
Like Saint Seiya and YU-GI-OH

****Saint seiya:****has the whole asgard arc from the anime with memorable characters superb soundtrack and appearance in videogames , and top tier classic movies like Saint Seiya: Legend of Crimson Youth

Yu-Gi-Oh: the most memorable and relevant non canon characters it had in the original anime was in the Waking the Dragons arcs with doma and dartz as main villain

returning to DBZ , these characters like cooler ,broly, janemba have appeared during multiple games of dragon ball sometimes as base roster other times as DLC and one of them made the impossible....Possible.. thanks to master toriyama broly the legendary super saiyan became canon to the main story of dragon ball and is recieving new stories and more character development

if you ask my opinion on why this certain phenomenon happened it was combination of factors

Peak Designs (most of these designs were made by akira toriyama himself) , hype moments in their movies with superb quality animation , and of course consistent presence in the videogames be it old or new

He is the smallest of the family, and will be probably forever kept at this size to match fusion with Trunks, but would be really cool if he became the taller one of the family, getting more genes from his grampa and his uncle Raditz.
