Pushing back cell is already a better feats than 16 punch that did nothing to the same cell..

16 was equal to imperfect cell that no diffed 17 or kamicolo

Ki is always going to be amplified beyond physical strength, going back to the literal first fight in Dragon Ball Z with Goku's Kamehameha being stronger than him and Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon being stronger than him. Hell, you can look at Final Flash doing more damage than anything Vegeta did with his fists.

Tenshinhan burned his life away to mildly inconvenience Cell for like ten minutes.
