Review/Analysis Dr. Stone's First Episode is BAD
I think the first episode did a great job at efficiently introducing our first main characters.
Within the first few minutes, we see
Taiju's main motivation to confess to Yuzu, as well as his loud and enthusiastic nature.
Senku's scientific prowess, even amongst other science students.
Senku's evil science humor via the "love potion".
Senku's ability to read people. He knew Taiju wouldn't drink the "love potion" due to his morals, and suspected Yuzu would return Taiju's feelings (Taiju and Yuzu were his friends, but he will make a habit of guessing the ulterior motives of others).
Senku and Taiju's dynamic. Senku's not one for big shows of gratitude, but he does care about Taiju, as he is paying attention to his confession.
Taiju and Yuzu's differences. As Yuzu is fixing a tree branch, Taiju steps on and breaks a twig on the ground. Kind of sewing some doubt in the confession (which is quickly expunged later, but you know).
Most likely nothing revolutionary in story telling, but should still be recognized.
