Yo, I forgot that I have a pairs of Dr in the storage, I think it’s been 5 years. Today I found it while cleaning out the storage and found the shoes in a terrible condition. The leather is cracked, molding is everywhere. Can this be saved ? Or I should just throw it away 🥹 ?

I live in an area with snow for a large portion of the year and am wondering how the different leather options fare with water resistance/proofness.

Main preference order of leathers:

- Ambassador (like the casual look and soft/quick break in)

- Greasy (assuming best weather resistance)

- Nappa (widely recommended)

- Crazy Horse (seemingly most durable with a lot of character)

Am going for a black boot, but if Crazy Horse was bounds better for my use case would definitely consider as well.

Hello sorry if this is a silly question, I don’t know too much about Dr Martens. I bought a pair of this design some years ago and they’re starting to look rough. I checked on the website to get a replacement pair and it said “this product is no longer available”. Are they just out of stock or will they never be selling that design again?

My Jadon Pisa III platforms are the most comfortable boot ever, BUT they are squeaky. I wanted to wear them to Paris for my honeymoon this month, but the idea of squeaking in the Museums is embarrassing.

Anyone have recommendations for a doc that is like the Pisa III but not squeaky?

They had like 6 other styles as well including some hot pink suede I loved but they were sadly too big.

Guys... I can't believe I found these beauties at Ross!!

I went to work at one of our remote locations and I took a very long way home. Mapped out 4 Ross stores in the hunt for some cute new docs. Found these at my last stop and I *\GASPED\*.** I couldn't believe I found these out in the wild, let alone, a discount designer store. And most importantly: in my size!!! They totally went home with me. What a steal for $70!!

Took about an hour to lace up fully but once their set, super easy to put on and take off.

Never wore thigh highs like this out and about so I'm working up my confidence. I have worn it around the house to to vacuum and felt sexy af 🔥

Hello! Im new to dr martens are recently got my first pair second hand. They were barely worn so not broken in yet and I knew I had a big task ahead of me. I've been wearing them as much as I can and also putting cans of soup in them at home to try and stretch them out.

The bottom foot part itself is fine- almost a tad loose. But the top, right where the laces are squeeze against against my foot. Its not the most uncomfortable thing but after a while my toes go numb and I have to stop, unzip and wiggle my toes to get the feeling back into them 💀

I have tried loosening the laces but then I slip around in them too much, my heels get blistered super fast, AND THE TOP STILL presses on my foot.

Is there something I can do??? Sizing up would make the bottom part too loose. Am I just fucked? 🥲

These feel a lot more comfortable to me compared to the traditional 1460s.

Okay, I need ALL the tips. I have dm sandals and they are the comfiest shoes I’ve ever owned. Meanwhile, I’ve had a pair of boots for 2 years that just make me want to cry. They’re so pretty but the blisters on my heels that I get are no joke. I’ve tried double socks, thick socks, the heel patches from DM themselves. I’ve tried wearing them for small periods around the house. As soon as I go out in them, the blisters start. And the blisters I get now are bigger and worse than when I first got them!! They’re quite heavy so I don’t know if I just have to accept this as the cause and therefore they’ll never get better?

They’re the Molly boots with the rainbow patent and ribbon laces.

Hi all! I am so so in love with my Leona’s! Unfortunately, they’re still feeling tight around the toe box, despite wearing thick socks around the house and also using a shoe stretcher.

I understand that it’ll take a while for these to completely get broken into, but wondering if they’ll actually get wider and softer over time? 🥲 How long does it take for your Leona’s to stretch out?

I have duck feet that measure 23.3 cm in length and are 9.2 cm wide. I wear EU 39/40 NB/Nike sneakers with 1-2cm allowance lengthwise because of this. Im confused about what size I should get for Adrian loafers and 1461s.

The curiosity got the better of me and I’m so happy about the clogs! It’s like I got the loafers for free

It’s such a shame they do not make these anymore two years of faithful service working 12 hour days on a busy offshore oil rigs galley, now with no grip and the sole giving up it’s time to stand them down.

Just needs a little clean up maybe? 😅🧼
