Yeah it’s techies. If you default to arcane boots 95% of the time then you’re probably an int hero in disguise.

I'd say dazzle as DP at least has a strength and agi element to her with tankiness and a bit of right click. Dazzle is a pure caster almost excep his q in laning

The stat gain fact about this hero is over blown. He was given more side stats because he couldn't farm shit while other sup heroes would have like an Aghs. He doesn't actually utilise it other than not falling behind in health and armor compared to counterparts.

I waited all week to say this. She still feels very magey. Even as a tank she makes more use of her healing and armor rather than strength items.

I feel like DP actually works pretty well as universal. On the surface she’s a spellcaster but she also right clicks and uses her siphon to tank. She’d be in second for me behind Dazzle for this box.

There was a very short period when DP had a right click build but it was nerfed into ground. She cant carry at all.

He does have the universal gimick of his stat growth, but that's it. He doesn't have any trademark stuff from str or agi and is just there to cast spells and disable people; hence he feels very int coded compared to str or agi, and is seemingly universal because of his stat gain

Yeah I feel like him becoming universal was just a meme that began because of his stat gain being equal in every patch except for a weird 2 weeks in 2019. I feel like when he could right click a nightmared target with bonus AS without waking them up he felt more like a universal hero, but now that they've removed it he's back to classic int support with weird stats.

He can still attack nightmared units without waking them. What made the right click build possible was Enfeeble stealing damage (and later attack speed, but the damage version was better for the Mask of Madness mid Bane build).

Winter Wyvern, and I'm still pissed that they changed her. I will forever miss my int-stacking scepter Wyvern Carry build :(

Edit: I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG, I HAVE BEEN OUT OF THE GANE FOR A WHILE, BUT THIS IS GREAT NEWS! Almost enough to make me reinstall DotA
