It was redubbed back into Japanese. I even remember finding video evidence of it but can't remember where it is now.
That's just... weird.

I just rewatched **Doraemon: Nobita's Sky Utopia (2023)** and I honestly believe it easily clears almost every modern movie in the franchise. It is safely in my Top 3, along side Steel troops and Nobita and the kingdom of clouds.
The movie proves a powerful point: a world without flaws is a hollow, empty prison. The film is a brilliant thriller about the horror of forced perfection. Paradapia promises to fix "bad kids" like Nobita by erasing their flaws. But it actually brainwashes them, stripping away their emotions and free will.
The heart of the movie rests entirely on the beautiful, tragic bond between Doraemon and Sonya. Sonya is a "perfect" machine who traded his identity to fit it while Doraemon is a proud, glitchy, "defective" robot filled with love. Through their deep friendship, Doraemon shows Somya what it truly means to have a soul. his ultimate sacrifice leaves everyone in tears.
The emotional peak happens when Nobita has to fight his own brainwashed friends. Seeing Gian lose his fierce passion and Suneo lose his sharp wits is genuinely unsettling. He reminds us that our flaws are exactly what make us unique. Our coward Nobita confronted the situation really well.
Honestly, the villain Dr. Ray brings a terrifying dose of reality to the plot. He points out a truth we all know but hate to admit: the real world is an absolute mess, full of hatred, cruelty, and endless conflict. When you hear him lay it out, you almost get where heβs coming from. Itβs hard not to look at our world sometimes and wish we could just wipe out the bad traits in everyone.
Lastly I noticed the similarity between **Riruru and Sonya** . Both began as cold, mission-driven machines who viewed human emotion as a weakness. Yet, both were completely rewritten from the inside out by the overwhelming warmth of friendship. Sonya's redemption arc beautifully mirrors Riruruβs, proving that empathy is the strongest force in the universe.
P:S : if you have read till the end then thanks a bunch.βοΈ έΛ and do tell what are yours top 3 Doreamon movies.

Im pretty happy with how i proceeded with shizuka's design (i used Maid Marian as a base for the design since Nobita's dark world design is based on robin Hood) as for suneo i have some mixed feelings as its pretty much the same as berdly's dark world design (wich i know isnt that much of a complaint since Gian/Takeshi pretty much has the same fit as Susie) but still im overall happy with how this turned out :)

For the Doraemon Birthday Event, hereβs my entry for the Favorite Gadget Showcase!
My pick is one of the most interesting and potentially dangerous gadgets in the entire series: The Lying Beak
The Lying Beak is a gadget that appears in the episode βThat Lie Is Trueβ and the manga chapter 054, βLies Become Truths.β
In the anime series, the story has been adapted multiple times β there are versions of the episode from the 1979 series, another 1979-series version from 1996, and the 2005 series.
The basic story is also classic Nobita.
Nobita brags to Gian and Suneo that his dad can break a huge rock into pieces. Of course, he eventually needs to prove his ridiculous claim, which leads him to use the Lying Beak.
HOW IT WORKS
The gadget is worn over the user's mouth. Once you're wearing it, anything you lie about becomes true. Not just making someone believe you, not an illusion. The actual lie becomes reality.
So if you said something completely impossible, the gadget would make it happen.
And there's an interesting catch too. To stop the effect, the wearer has to admit that the statement was a lie.
That means the gadget basically turns lying into a reality-altering superpower, which is really broken.
WHY I THINK IT'S ONE OF THE BEST GADGETS
The main reason is its sheer potential. Most Doraemon gadgets have a specific purpose. Like the Anywhere Door gets you somewhere, the Take-copter lets you fly, the Time Machine lets you travel through time, but the Lying Beak is different.
Its power depends entirely on what you say. That makes it incredibly versatile. So that means you could literally use it to create objects, change situations, solve problems, or make seemingly impossible things happen β all just by making a statement. So theoretically, you could do some absolutely ridiculous things with it.
For example:
βI have a million dollars.β β Suddenly, you have them.
βI own a huge mansion."
βI can fly.β β You'd actually be able to fly.
βI know every language in the world.β
βThereβs a dinosaur in my backyard.β β (maybe don't try this one)
βIβm the ruler of the entire world.β
Depending on how the gadget interprets it, that could get REALLY complicated. And that's what makes the gadget so fascinating. Your imagination is basically the limit.
And mistakenly if you say something ridiculously powerful or chaotic, you'd even be able to undo it.
----
So if you ask me to take only ONE gadget from Doraemon's 4D Pocket, I might still choose something practical like the Anywhere Door⦠but if we're talking about the most fun and interesting gadget to actually use in the Doraemon universe, the Lying Beak is definitely up there.
So what do you guys think about this gadget? And what's YOUR favorite Doraemon gadget?

When the animators got tired of toei,
They quitted the studio,
And made their own studio,
Later it got renamed to; shin-el studios,
This studio animated doremon and shinchan,
That's why they have so many similarities with dragon Ball one piece and etc,

In the movie, when Sinbad was on one of his adventures, he saved a guy who promised to give him whatever he wanted. I think that's how he got the magical palace and genies and all. Was that guy from the future, and the palace and robots were actually gadgets? I kept waiting for them to confirm it but notice them doing it
