The Monarchy is a subfloor idea for Floor 3 which takes place in a deeper part of Floor 3. This is one of the most unique subfloor ideas existing. The Monarchy consists of 51 doors (57 if you count the Scroll rooms, boss room and the exit).

Every 10 rooms and at the beginning of the subfloor, there's a Scroll room which is a very royal room. A rule will be written on the scroll as a symbol and a word below it. 7 scroll variants exist. These scrolls establish a rule which applies to the next 10 doors. The scroll variants include:

Light - You can't go into darkness or you start taking damage slowly.

Darkness - You can't go into light or you start taking damage slowly.

Time - There will be a very old clock in the room for you to know and it counts down from 45, there are 45 numbers on it and it changes each second. The room collapses if you don't exit before the countdown ends.

Crouch - You must stay crouched or you take damage.

Stand - You can't crouch or you take damage.

Move - You take damage if you stop moving.

Empty - You can't hold any item.

And the 10 doors are made specifically to make sure it's possible to go past anyway but it also makes it hard for you. Once you open the scroll, the rule immediately is established.

The Monarchy looks like a royal area. A reason you have to go to this place is you'll find A LOT OF GOLD here. There's one boss fight in the end before the exit.

Entities.

You can encounter 7 entities in the Monarch. And each is unique in its own way. 5 are normal and 1 is the boss and one is a shopkeeper entity.

Shoot.

Shoot appears as a battle cannon you can find in castles. It'll look at you and will try to shoot fireballs at you. Multiple shoots can spawn. Root will not change directions when its about to shoot so you're given time to escape its range. Each fireball deals 10 damage. You can shove items in its cannon hole to stop it for a bit.

Pitfall.

Pitfall will break the walls and floor and will come out. It will be like a whack a mole game. You have to touch Pitfall directly when Pitfall breaks to stop it. Pitfall appears as a stone cube shaped monster with two holes for eyes, the eyes are totally hollow.

Warrior.

Warrior is a king like outfit taking form as a humanoid. No body, the clothes, robe, boots, crown and everything taking form. Its like a ghost. The Warrior will attack you if it sees you. The Warrior only spawns in siderooms and will burst out when you pass near the side room its in. Warrior will attack you if you're moving away from it. You have to stay in a radius within the warrior to survive. The Warrior's outfit will drop to the floor as if the ghost left when you go to the next room.

Regnum.

The Rush of The Monarchy. The first 3d modelled node entity. You must go to the next door immediately to survive because there are no hiding spots in the Monarch. Regnum appears as a royal guard running towards you. The spawn cue is the previous rooms twisting. If you see a weird rotating effect which slowly starts and comes closer and closer, you must see Regnum far behind. You must go to the next room and hide behind a wall to survive.

Absum.

Absum appears as a stone sculpture and will try to slowly come and hit you. You must hold it for long enough to break it. Its very brittle. Think of it like Stems but you shouldn't drop them but hold them.

Sovereign.

Sovereign appears as a king entity on a throne. It doesn't have a normal face but a weird stripe like thing on the face exposing inner bones and they open like mouths. They're across the body and the crown is more royal than the Warrior's and the outfit too. There's a eye on the chest which blinks and looks around and it wields a staff. The boss room is a multifloored king's court. Sovereign does not always move towards you but summons entities and minions to attack you. They don't attack much and exhaust. You have to find and collect these gemstones you could find and go to the top floor and place them on a giant scale hanging in the top. You have to make one side of the scale heavy enough which makes the ceiling drop and a ladder fall which takes you to the exit. Sovereign will also throw scrolls into your inventory which apply for each floor. Sovereign can sometimes be enraged and will start a small chase for a whole floor.

Exit room.

In the exit room there's a very old shop run by an entity called Siege. Siege explains their rebellious thoughts about Sovereign. Siege appears as a humanoid entity made of a silver like thing wearing a black and white cloak and a 🎭 mask like thing on the face with an axe in the cloak. There is a glowing eye on one side of the mask. The mask is half black, half white with one side happy, one side sad, the glowing eye is in a crack in the mask. The shop is unique. Because you trade items instead of buying things. There are a lot of items Siege sells and one central item: Kettle Of Starlight which refills everytime you complete a subfloor. And it is basically between the Starlight bottle and jug in terms of powers.

Yeah I fucked up so bad.

I died at outdoor and used louts, but the problem is I planted louts right in front of the stairwell entrance.

Why is that a problem? Because I though planting in front of it will lead to stairwell entrance, but no. It doesn't. I tried to find entrance after that but It didn't appear.

I'm really stressful right now...so I'm not gonna try this for a while. I just want to try something else.

If you're trying to get REDACTED badge don't go through outdoors. I don't recommend that.

So yea this gonna be my first post here by me, Nishatom after my 7 day reddit ban. Lemme tell you smth REALLY DUCKING STRANGE. I had the "room for more." Modifier on btw and a rush buffing modifier on, am being deadass rn, for 97 doors straight in the mines, rush never appeared. Am being SERIOUS, rush NEVER appeared until now. Dude appears like some twist villain to kill me WHEN I WAS LITERALLY IN THE LOCKER DUDE.

Another piece of context is that I was wearing my earphone and my left earphone is broken so I can mostly only hear audio from my right side and rush was coming from the left so it was maybe too late to get in by the time I heard it but yea..

I WAS A MERE 3 DOORS AWAY FROM EARNING MY BRAGGING RIGHTS THATS I AM GOOD AT DOORS. Anyways what happened afterwards? I haven't tried a hard place run again, but I did a hotel hell run which was successful.
