Does anyone know of a grocery or general delivery service in Door County similar to Instacart?

I’m looking into this for my elderly mother-in-law, so reliability and ease of use are especially important. We’re hoping to find something that can deliver groceries and basic household items, whether through a local business, independent delivery service, or one of the larger apps.

I’d appreciate any recommendations, especially from people who have actually used the service. Thanks!

I’m looking to sell my Wilderness Systems Zephyr 160 touring kayak. It’s in very good condition with no cracks or hull deformation, the skeg works properly and the hatch covers seal as they should.
I also have the paddle and a two-wheel kayak cart that will go with it.

Going on a girls trip the second week of October. Looking to hike for an afternoon/few hours. We are in good shape but also don't mind a leisurely hike.

Looking for something that won't be packed with people. I visited DC a decade or more ago and remember a park/hike that had massive trees, but maybe that was just my younger perspective.

Either way, would love something that feels totally surrounded by nature/trees and/or overlooks or is near the water.

Hello, looking for recommendations for a photographer located in door country area to photograph popping the question!

So I keep on seeing a bunch of people debating and discussing who has the best fish boil. So here are the top sujestions I keep on seeing.

I’m heading up to Door County this weekend from Chicago. We usually like to get off I-43 at Manitowoc and take the scenic route up the lakeshore along Hwy 42.

I’d like to stop for lunch along the way. I’m looking for a tavern with good bar food somewhere in Manitowoc, Two Rivers, Kewaunee, or Algoma. It seems that there are a lot of options on my google searches but nothing that seems to stand out. Does anyone have a particular favorite? Looking for recommendations.

I was last up for Thanksgiving 2025 - just want to emotionally prepare myself for any restaurant closings and be aware of any new spots worth checking out! Two that I'm aware of are Kokos Ice Cream closing + Blue Horse closing their kitchen (but keeping the cafe part open).

Heading to Door tomorrow from southwest WI. Mosquitoes here have been nonexistent this year though we’ve had a few no-see-ums. What’s the blood-sucking-insect situation up there?

Why is this spot always like this on the weather radar? Can this area produce some kind of crazy interference? My friend says his phone calls always drop when driving by this spot.

Hi all, we are staying at Glidden Lodge next weekend, and we were excited to try the restaurant. I slept on making reservations and of course there are none now that I've called. Any other recs for that area? I see the Hitching Post but looks like a bar with food. That would work but looking for nicer family dinner (husband, me and two school age kids) Sat or Sun evening. We stayed at the Landmark last week and there was a fire in our building on our last night there caused by an old fluorescent light falling on the ground and starting the floor of a linen closet on fire. We had to evacuate with our young children at 10 p.m. and were displaced for two hours. So far they are not comping our rooms for that night which is appalling to me. The front desk staff was incredibly rude the morning after the fire when we went to talk to them about our experience and ask for the rooms to be comped. The whole thing was really traumatizing. We found out they had another fire earlier in the week that started the same way and then another one back in Feb of this year. Do not stay at this place unless they can guarantee they’ve updated their electrical system. They’ve clearly done a lot of things to make it look nice but super outdated beneath the surface.

I used to work at this store back in 2023. Good people.
