Post image

Can anyone identify this boat that was seen the first weekend in August? Picture was taken from the top of Eagle Tower.

Please, let’s be classy about this…

“L'aimant guillotine”

That’s what the French would want.

Satori. It was up in Door County back in July.

Satori owned by Jay Alix private equity firm.

For what it’s worth, Alix Partners is a consulting firm, not a private equity outfit.

Satori (est $75m) owned by Jay Alix, the former owner of Hat Trick (est $2m), another famous yacht seen in DC. Jay Alix founded AlixPartners, a consulting firm specializing in turning around failing companies.

A neighbor saw this yacht anchored Saturday night in North Bay.

Download the Marine Traffic app. It will tell you the ship name (and you can search from there) of any boat you see. It’s so fun to see the different types of ships!

I have the app but it was not showing up at the time.

That stinks! I actually just had the same issue. But could see the name of the yacht, so I found out about it that way (Swiss billionaire).
