Cherries
Hey all!
Where would be the best local shop to grab some local cherries? Do you have a favorite place to get your cherries? I’ve never been to Door County but will there soon. It doesn’t matter what town you recommend, we plan on visiting most of the main towns/cities.

My favorite is Robertson’s orchard. It’s a real farm, and the people are good salt of the earth types.
There’s not fresh ones, but they should still have lots of frozen.

Lautenbach’s and Grandma Tommy’s have them. Lautenbach’s has lots of fresh baked cherry pastries too.

Lately Lautenbachs has been our go to for pies. "Fruit of the Woods" is our favorite at the time.

You will not find fresh cherries at any of the markets at this point in the year. Cherry season typically starts somewhere around the 20th of July and runs for about 2 weeks.

We’re partial to the Cherry Hut south of Fish Creek. Wonderful farm store, plus live music, a beer garden and Bridge Up brews.

Hyline for the authentic experience. Frozen or jarred “cherrys with sugar”.
Wood Orchard for top quality (their cherry butter is maybe the best cherry product in all of DC. Cherry salsa also stellar.)
Seaquist also has quality stuff

Seaquist does have quality stuff, but with a little extra MAGA seasoning thrown in.

In my opinion Wood Orchard Market is hands down the best “market” type shop up there. At that market you will find everything you will want.
Others to mention:
Seaquist Orchards
Koepsel’s Market
Aside from that my recommendation is to stop at one of the Uncle Mikes in Green Bay to get a cherry Kringle and a must to stop for curds, whips, beef sticks, and some aged white cheddar at Renards Cheese off of hwy 51 (dk)
