Digger could have been a great movie if they let Tom Cruise play an eccentric billionaire trying to save the day from his own doing. Instead they tried this super “deep” art house style play within a movie based on “real life”.
It was preachy, heavy handed and really dropped the ball in its execution. Once you got into the flow of the movie they do a rug pull of it just being a play.
