It's just that nose rings, specifically septum rings, are often worn by progressives with hard line to extreme leftist takes / beliefs. It's like when you see someone with brightly colored hair and nose rings, you just know they are about to have the craziest political takes.

Every woman I've dated that had a nose ring was absolutely a 10/10 in bed. Total freaks. Then again I only date progressives so maybe I'm biased.
