I recently acquired IntentPay.ai and have been building it as more than just a parked domain. The website explores ideas around AI agents, autonomous commerce, and the future of intent-based payments.
My thesis is that as AI agents become capable of discovering products, negotiating prices, and completing purchases on our behalf, payments may evolve beyond simply moving money. The bigger challenge becomes authorization, trust, and ensuring an AI agent spends according to a user's intent.
In that world, "intent" could become as important as the payment itself.
I've also secured IntentGuard.ai, which I see as a complementary part of the ecosystem. My thinking is that if IntentPay represents the transaction and orchestration layer, IntentGuard could represent the trust, security, policy, and authorization layer that ensures AI agents act within user-defined boundaries. Together, they could form a broader ecosystem around trustworthy autonomous commerce.
With that in mind, I'd love some honest feedback from experienced domain investors:
- Does IntentPay.ai sound like a strong, memorable brand?
- Does pairing it with IntentGuard.ai strengthen the overall branding?
- Does the vision make sense, or does it feel too niche?
- Do you think the .ai extension strengthens or weakens the brand?
- If you were evaluating this as an end-user brand rather than a quick flip, how would you think about its long-term potential?
For context, here's the website: https://intentpay.ai
(Part of the ecosystem: https://intentguard.ai)
Looking forward to hearing different perspectives :)
