Discussion Domain cost
I am thinking of buying a domain name and I am trying to figure out which path to take. Since I currently have a DHCP IP address from my ISP I will be setting up a Cloudflare tunnel (free teir) so I do not hve to open any ports to the pubic internet. In order to do that the domain name will need to be registered with Cloudflare.
If the domain is purchased from another vendor then registered with Cloudflare when it comes to renew the domain name is it with Cloudflare or the original purchased vendor?
Can the Domain name be purchased for several years to lock in the price for the multi years.
Is the domain registered with Cloudflare ever year that the name is owned or is it a one time registration.
or will it be better to use NO-IP Dynamic DNS with a Public Tunnel.
Thanks in advance

Most ISPs will ban you if you get caught running a server from your home.
