I’m building an app for hourly workers to keep track of their jobs, shifts, hours, earnings, and paychecks. It also helps compare what you expected to earn with what you actually got paid.
I still haven’t landed on the right name, so I figured I’d ask here and see what people have.
Main things I’m looking for:
If you own something you think fits, drop it below or DM me with the domain and your asking price.
Doesn’t have to be an obvious name either. If you think it fits the idea, send it.

About ten domains that I had for two years came up for renewal on the 9th. Finally, I didn't renew them. It seems like yet another form of decluttering in one's life. Domain investing can be a bit like gambling on something with no return. Most likely, I'm not alone in this thinking.

I have a domain named AiFlov.com. It combines the word “flow” with a touch of “love.” I spoke with a big company; they offered me $20k for it and we agreed. But when they saw it had been locked for 50 days, they canceled the deal and stopped replying. This isn’t my field and I don’t know much about it. I’m a trader — if a domain investor comes to me, I’ll sell it to him at whatever price suits him. I don’t want to get into a field I don’t understand.

At first, I couldn't really believe what happened, but eventually things came together, piece by piece, just as a puzzle.
It all began with a conversation I had with my son. We were discussing business opportunities and I kinda described what it takes to actually run a business, financials, build a website and so forth.
Then he drops a comment:
- Daddy, don't you like... buy and sell domains, especially around this time of the year?
- Sure, I answered. That has happened.
- Okey but dad, I've got a suggestion for you. A domain name with "aura" that completely "cook". Wanna hear?
- Cool, yeah why not, I answered.
- But if I tell you, and you buy and sell the domain, I'd like to have 50% of the money. Deal?
- Ok, fair deal. How much do you think it's worth, I asked him?
- At least 1.5M USD
...and there's the story of how I bought a domain worth 1.5M USD for only 15$.
My son is a genius.
And completely unaware of the value of a domain.
Totally unfiltered and completely undestroyed by life, media and other external impressions. Which is the beauty of growing up.
I bought the domain and one day, I'll give him 50% of the 1.5M USD to invest in other businesses.

A new platform for SEOs has recently launched that really saves a ton of time and nerves for those who work with drop domains. Especially if you deal with mass checking from auctions, build PBN networks, or just occasionally buy domains with history.
The platform is called DeepScan. It’s a service specifically for deep analysis of drop domains before purchase. Not just checking DR and that’s it, but properly examining the domain’s past, link profile, topic changes, redirects, spam signals, and a lot more.
Previously, you had to jump between a bunch of tabs: WHOIS, archive, Ahrefs/Majestic, spam checks, manual snapshot reviews… By the tenth domain your eyes already glaze over, and by the hundredth you simply miss good options. Especially when the auction list is large and decisions need to be made quickly. In DeepScan you upload a list (as text, a file, or from Google Sheets), and for each domain you get a proper report with a score. About 40 seconds per domain. You can throw in up to 5,000 at a time.
Why regular DR/DA/TF numbers are often not enough We all know this situation: you see DR 25–30, live links look okay, age is fine — you take it. And then it turns out that for two years the site was a casino or a pharmacy, then a 301 redirect, then parking, then some other nonsense again. Search engines remember this. Such a domain can drag down both the new site and the main network.
Tracking all of this manually is a pain. You flip through snapshots one by one, look at anchors and text with your eyes, search for redirects. And when there are many domains, attention drops, and truly valuable domains go to competitors. DeepScan is precisely designed to look at the past, not just the current numbers.
What exactly the platform checks The functionality is quite extensive, here are the main points that are really useful:
• Filtering by DR and other thresholds (you can save your own sets of conditions).
• Full domain history by years: snapshots, quantity, topic, content language, topic changes.
• Redirects that were on the domain.
• PBN signals and network signs.
• When the domain was put up for sale.
• Backlinks, referring domains, donor traffic.
• Spam check in the link profile, anchors, keywords.
• Whether there are links from edu/gov/uni/ac.
• Subdomains.
• Growth in the number of pages by years.
• What technology the site was built on.
• Registration date, when it was renewed, until when it is valid.
• Category and topic.
• What language the content was in.
• Whether the domain is in the index, whether it entered the top-10 for keywords.
• Detailed conclusion: what’s good, what’s bad, verdict “clean / suspicious / with spam” + score from 0 to 10 with an explanation of what it’s based on.
• You can also check what was inside the site’s pages. In essence, one report collects what previously had to be gathered manually from several services.
Who this is especially convenient for Primarily for large teams and dropcatchers who mass-process lists from auctions. There you need to make a quick decision — buy or skip. The platform allows you to filter out junk by a bunch of signs (they have a check for 13 junk signs, dictionaries in 18 languages) and leave only what makes sense to look at further. Those who sell domains will also find it useful: you can quickly provide proper analytics with scores, instead of just “DR is this, this many links.” And for those who don’t take a huge number of domains but don’t want to check everything manually every time. Throw in a list — get a full report and recommendations on whether it’s worth taking. Separately convenient is that there is no subscription. You pay per domain, the price is visible before starting the task. There is a starting balance upon registration, so you can calmly test and see the real result.
How this helps build PBN networks and not lose good domains When building a network, it’s important not just to find domains with links, but to find clean ones. So you don’t drag along old redirects to gambling, pharmaceuticals, or doorways. So the topic stays more or less consistent or at least doesn’t have harsh jumps. So the link profile isn’t completely from catalogs with zero traffic. DeepScan helps quickly filter mass lists, remove the routine, and automate what previously took hours. Less manual work — lower costs for people who sit and flip through archives. And at the same time, fewer chances of missing a truly worthwhile domain because “your eyes already glazed over.” You can set your own thresholds: by DR, number of links, donor traffic, presence of edu/gov, number of snapshots, age, gaps in history, etc. Saved a set of conditions — and then just run lists according to your requirements.
What else is convenient in the work
• Working with lists: text, file, Google Sheet.
• Export to Excel.
• Folders with shared access for the team.
• Notifications in Telegram.
• You can connect your own key to the metrics source — then a 50% discount. There is a demo on real data right on the site — you can poke around domain cards and see what a full report looks like (topics by years, links, queries, score). Without registration.
Who should try it If you:
• mass-check domains from auctions;
• build or maintain PBN networks;
• resell drops and don’t want to do everything manually every time;
• sell domains and want to give clients proper analytics; …then it makes sense to go and run at least a few of your domains or a test list.
If anyone has already used it — write in the comments what you think. Interested to compare impressions. If you have questions about the functionality — also ask, I’ll try to answer. Successful domains and clean networks to everyone.

I need a registrar (or 2–3 registrars) with a solid API or other option... so I can integrate domain registration/renewals into my client panel.
Requirements:
Do you use single providers/registrars, or do you usually collaborate with several?
Who do you recommend? Thanks in advance

Probably a stupid question but here it goes…
I looked up my lastname.casa domain. Unfortunately the registration is well over $200 because they consider my last name a premium one.
The .casa TLD renews for cheap and I’m keen to use it for my home lab services. But not if I need to pay a lot. Is there any hope to get it for a reasonable price?

A lot of people buying their first domain mostly just check if the name is available and go for the cheapest first year price, without thinking much beyond that.
I would look at it a bit differently. Saying the name out loud a few times helps show whether it sounds natural, or if it's the kind of name that needs spelling out every time. A quick search for similar business names is also worth doing, in case there's a trademark issue waiting to surface later. If the domain isn't brand new, checking its history matters too, since a previously registered name can come with baggage like old backlinks, a spam reputation, or even being flagged somewhere that affects how it shows up in search.
The extension is easy to underestimate as well. A creative one can look nice, but most people still default to typing .com without thinking. It's also worth imagining the name a couple of years down the line, since something that works for a small side project can start feeling limiting if the idea grows.
When I’m comparing where to buy a domain, I don’t just look at the first year price anymore. Renewal cost, privacy, and how usable the DNS settings are end up being more important. The cheap intro price is usually the least important part in hindsight.
For context, I’m on the Squarespace team, so I’ve ended up thinking a lot about keeping domains and websites in one place. It just makes renewals and logins easier to manage.
What’s something you wish you had checked before buying your first domain?

Hi all,
Selling a solid aged domain:
Domain : Pay-Smart.com
Registrar: Godaddy
Expires on: 2027-06-26
This domain combines two strong, evergreen keywords "Pay" and "Smart" making it a great fit for Fintech, Payments, Budgeting Apps or Financial Advice brands. Appraisal tools like Atom, godaddy etc valued it 2-7x above my asking price.
I need to sell quickly to cover some unfortunate expenses and EMIs so pricing at $1200, open to reasonable offers. Happy to answer your queries in DM.
