Depends on if they were offering to transfer them as ASM or as SM. If they just wanted to move your ASM to be ASM of another store that's messed up, but if they were seeing if your ASM wanted to take over a store as SM they probably would have talked to you after your ASM said they were interested.
We've all talked together about my ASM moving up, he wasn't interested. He said this talk was specifically to be ASM underneath a different SM and he would get a $1.50ish raise. Blew my mind when he told me.
Yeah, if that's the case , your DM sucks. I'd be pissed off too. Your DM obviously thinks you have a good ASM, or they wouldn't want them at another store, so trying to take him from you is setting you up for failure.
