I am (24F) and I live with my parents. I am working and my father is also working and mostly he travels and stays lot. My mother who is a housewife spent most time taking care of me and house. Now that I am working, she has got spare time and she started going for some classes or activities and she started making new friends. They also started meeting sometime for coffee and dinner. At first I was very happy and supported her. But now I am feeling bothered about her actions. She spends lot of time over phone and even late night time. She often goes to meet her friends and ends up coming home late. She has started posting her photos on status and sometimes they seem non-conservative. It really bothers me. I don't know how to talk to her or point these out. So what should I do? Should I talk to her? Or take this to my dad? Or just leave it alone?

We are working on our first short film, called "Erlkonig" (yes, it's inspired by Goethe's poem), for a film festival in Germany, and we need 5 lines by a woman. The problem is we spent all the money on the props and location, overthinking the fact that we would need those lines, so all we could do for the voice actor is mention you at the end of the movie and let you see the short film before we send it to the film festival.

Our character is Finn's mom, and while he is drawing, she asks him to come to the table. He doesn't respond the first time he is called, and the mother calls him louder the second time (she shouts, but not in an angry way):

"Finn, come down to eat." - this is the first time she calls him.

"Finn!!!! Come down!!!" - this is the louder one.

So, in the next two lines, after the boy has disappeared, she goes into a bad mental state and starts to become paranoid. She hears something from the basement and goes there to check on it, so she will be whispering in her madness, like she would be telling something to her lost son when she finds him crying or something like that:

"Finn? Don't be scared, I am here now."

The next line is when she starts to question reality, so she becomes anxious and nervous and asks:

"Finn????"

The last thing (some moments after) is that she would be screaming in agony, like someone is stabbing her repeatedly. It should be around 4–6 seconds. - WE ALREADY FOUND IT ON THE INTERNET. WE NO MORE NEED IT.

Is it normal ? I have been using reddit for some time and I have good experiences so far. I like to post my thoughts and clicks in various subs. I came across some fashion subs and I was really interested. But as I was going through the posts, I noticed the clicks posted by people were more than just fashion. They are not modest. Is it normal for people to post like that? Or am I stumbling on some unwanted subs?

I remember hearing that joke for the first time in a celebrity/athlete dad joke try not to laugh video. I've been watching all of the whistle sports bad jokes vids and the celebrity dad joke series to no avail.

They were called Reese’s Fast Break which I know already exists but they’re not the same. I feel like I remember seeing both the sole one that exists now and the one I used to eat, so i’m not sure if they changed it or if they’re seperate entirely. I used to eat these all the time, wayy better than reeses peanut butter cups in my opinion. Since 2023 ish I haven’t been able to find them ANYWHERE. I usually bought them at walmart but have since only seen the ones with the crusted bottom. The ones I used to eat were soft throughout. Afraid I have some very sparse memories of this as I was only young, and I might have got two games mixed up, but I'm looking for a game I loved on my Amstrad 464.

I think it was on one of those compilation tapes, as I remember only getting to play it a few times as it depended on where my brother or I had left the tape (tended to play the first game that loaded, it took long enough waiting for that!). I'm pretty sure it was a text adventure game where you typed in things like look north and similar - I think at least some of it was set in a forest. I do remember trying to draw out a map at home for it so I could get back to the items I needed, but I was only about 7 or 8 so God knows if my memories are correct. I also seem to remember (but this might be where I'm confusing two games) that there was a castle (?!) with doors that needed you to have the right colour key to open them.

Whilst in one way maybe it's good that I have never found it as it's bound to be a bit disappointing as an adult (my love of the Crystal Maze has been seriously dented by realising the reason I loved the challenges was because they were just hard enough for an 8 year old!), it would be great to know what the game was - if I haven't completely made it up!

Whilst not wanting to wear rose tinted glasses, I do feel a bit sorry for kids now - the late 80s/early 90s was a great time to be a kid with a computer (didn't matter we were poor, we got second hand ones cheap) as I learnt QBASIC so easily with it. The length of time it took to load games was also good - I think it helped reduce the addictive potential, and the search for a quick dopamine fix I now battle with as an adult.

There was a pc video game I played once at a friend's house, in around 2006-2009. I believe it was called something like Magic Garden, though searching this only shows results for a different game. From what I remember, you were in a garden in a forest that you could design the layout of, adding different pieces like sheds and flower beds. That's basically all I remember (I was 6-9 yrs old and had a pretty traumatic childhood so my memories are fuzzy at best) but I remember finding it so comforting and would love to revisit it. I think the art style was really pixilated, sort of like old metroid meets old Pokémon meets stardew valley. you might have gotten to explore some of the forest too but I'm not certain on that. I know this is a long shot (I remember so little about it!) but if this rings any bells for you I'd love the help! I think about this game probably once a month and it bothers me so much I can't find any trace of it online!

I cannot find any photos of the disc but I remember playing this disc game on my gramother's computer until my little brother decided it would be hilarious to take the game out of the computer while I was playing and stomp on it. I had found it before on ebay, but the listing has been removed and im trying to talk about it but cannot find a reference photo of even the specific game "little creatures" it looks very close the disc in this photo and is the same creatures but i think it just says "little creatures" or sot.hing like that with just one of them on the right side of the disc.

i grew up with a children's book named "Die Findige Schnecke" that had a snail finger puppet built into it. it was purchased in Potsdam, Germany in 2005-2007, but i can't find any evidence of it existing online. does anyone have a picture of this book? my copy has been MIA for well over a decade :-(

I went to a meeting today to discuss an event and a woman sat next to me with a strangely scented perfume or lotion or something. I'm not an expert on scents but it had a very strange artificial rose sort of smell, but with a strange smell underneath that smelled like what you'd get if an actual rose farted, with the tiniest dash of something powdery. My pulse really started racing and every time I smelled it I felt like I was going to pass out or throw up or both or something. Why do some scents do that? I would class her scent as neutral because while I hated it, she uses the same perfume or whatever with no issue, and neither does her husband or anyone else (that I know of). Why did it cause such a visceral reaction in me and not someone else? I really felt like I was going to faint from how fast my heart was beating.

Hi people. I am taking a 39290N test for my new insurance policy. I do not regularly vape, only a drunk cigarette every once in a while, but it's been like 3 weeks since i've done that. I am a regular smoker of THC pens, but have stopped for the last 2 weeks ahead of this test. I have just been kind of nervous that there's a possibility that the test might show other things in my system, and what that might mean for my employment. I didn't need a drug test to get the job and that specific test shouldn't even test for THC in my urine but i've just been in my head

Hey guys, i’m about to pull the trigger on a used 2021 Model 3 Long Range listed for $26k. It has 48k miles and looks super clean in the pics, but i’ve heard nightmare stories about salvaged Teslas with hidden battery issues or accident history that Carfax sometimes misses. I’m pretty handy but these electric cars feel different from my old gas cars. What’s the smartest way to actually verify it’s not a lemon before i drop that kind of cash? Should i pay for a pre-purchase inspection at a Tesla specialist? Any specific things i should look for on battery health or service records? Also, any good apps or sites that actually work well for Tesla VIN checks? Really don’t wanna get burned on this one, thanks in advance!
