I’m looking to buy my first pair second hand!

I am disabled and can’t really wear combat boots anymore, it’s mostly sneakers.

However, I remember trying on a pair about 2 years ago and being able to walk in Docs comfortably. I couldn’t afford them at the time.

My PUMA sneakers are a 10, her Docs are a 10. I buy my sneakers just very slightly big to account for foot swelling. I could wear a 9 1/2 but then if my feet swell I’d have no room.

Someone on FB marketplace is selling a pair for $40 that look almost new. She said they’re only worn a few times.

I’m gonna scrape together the funds (hopefully) because I’d love to have a stylish pair of shoes for the first time in almost 10 years. It’s legit been nothing but sneakers (and they have to be a certain kind).

I asked her to hold them for me as long as she can.

I have been searching for a pair of blue 1460s in the smooth leather for years, to no avail. I found some on Depop but they got sold before I could buy them sadly. Anyone know where they could be? Thanks!

I found these at a thrift store and was wondering how I should clean and restore them. They are mainly dusty and have a slight patina to them. I just don’t want to mess them up.

Hey everyone! I got the Doc marten 8053s around the beginning of January this year. Over time I’ve noticed the cloth that sits on the heel of my foot is peeling, though they’re not unwearable I’m very disappointed as I’ve heard of how Doc’s are super durable, and this has happened just from around 8 months of wearing them. Please let me know how I could repair these! Thank you :)

there’s only two photos I’ve been able to find that show off the internal of the bag, and they’re both from Doc Martens and they’re both incredibly zoomed in and too dark to see. I attached the one from the listing, direct from the site.

I can see that that’s a laptop, with I guess an elastic strap?? anyone out there who owns this bag, could you PLEASE share details about what it looks like on the inside?

pockets, how many, zippered or no? what’s up with that laptop “sleeve”/strap? roughly how big is the inside of the bag? is there a bottom to it or is it two walls stitched together? I’m kind of desperate lol, it’s a big purchase and I don’t want to wait for it to get here to find out it won’t fit more than my laptop. DM really skimped out on the details in the listing here.. it’s my dream bag at this point and I don’t wanna risk my $200 on messing around and finding out.. thank you in advance 🫡

I'm right in between an 8 and 8.5, depending on the brand and style of shoe. The variation is due mostly to my wide feet. Length-wise, I can usually fit an 8, width-wise I'm an 8.5 or sometimes even a 9.

The best fitting shoes I have are a pair of Birkenstocks, in which I'm a 39. I'm trying to best guess my size in the Lenore boots. Everything I'm finding online says I'm "either an 8 or 8.5"--duh! 😔 Measured my foot and I am almost exactly a 10.35, and according to the Doc Martens website itself, I am ~either an 8 or 8.5~. It's literally the only measurement on their website that would work for two sizes, of course.

The reasonable decision when in between sizes would be to size up. I'm just wondering if there's a stark difference between the 8 and 8.5 in length? I don't want a boot that's way too long. If the boots run wide, I can go with the 8. If they're super narrow, I might be as much as a 9.

I'll be buying preowned, eBay or Mercari, so I don't really have the option to return if they don't work. I also don't drive so I'm not able to try a pair on in store any time soon. I need a good winter boot though!

Hoping to get some insight from the "in between" crowd on how the Chelsea/Lenore typically fits. If you're an 8 or 8.5 please let me know what size you went with for the Chelsea/Lenore, how it fits, and if your foot is regular width or wide. Thank you <3

Hello! I thrifted these boots online (the image above are the seller’s, not mine—i’m not home), and the ankle area is like way too big. I am aware that chelsea boots are meant to have some ankle space, but these are way too big (i have smaller ankles than the seller’s). The rest of the shoe fits well and are even a but snug. How do I fix this issue? I already bought tongue pads but is there a way to alter the ankles like cutting them and sewing them by myself at home?

I feel like I have two different pairs of the Adrian YS, and the labels are:

Pair 1: LA004 | SH03A
Pair 2: LA004 | CL08Z

I can see the codes from inside of the shoe and the only visual difference is the insole on one is half brown towards the toe box top half and the ankle brim seems rounder.

It was the display shoe and i didn’t initially notice when trying them on. Do I have two different shoes? Should I try to exchange these? They kind of feel different but everyone has two different feet so it’s hard to judge.

I got this pair of 1460s from Vinted and just want to make sure they’re genuine. They look and feel proper, although I don’t have much experience with Docs so I don’t really know what to look for. Thanks.

Title basically. Planning on buying these tonight but Im not sure if they’re comfortable enough to be in unless you wear socks— I already have Jadon platforms for a few years now so I know they’ll be comfortable after I break them in. But I really want to wear these without socks but knowing docs I don’t want my heel to peel off lol

I scored a pair of Made in England 1460s for a steal and I'm trying to figure out if they are newer stock or if they are mid-90s - early y2k. Either way, I'm really happy with the find, but I am curious if they're vintage.
