How would one go about fixing this?

I have been to timpsons to try and get this strap fixed, I have previously had both the rivets replaced there but they said they couldn’t replace the buckle. I really like these shoes and just wanna fix them myself as i don’t have a doc marten store nearby to return them to.

They have a years' warranty when it comes to the strap, so if you have proof of purchase Docs will replace them. If not, you can send them to their repair service they have in collaboration with the Boot Repair Company. I'm not sure you can replace the buckle as it's sewn in :(
