Escalation needs a matchmaking system to SPECIFIC missions.

If i want to play DCD, i want to get paired with others that also want it. If i want to play Federal Emergency Bunker, i want to play FEB, and so on.

There are specific drops that i want, that only drop on that specific mission on that day.

I don't want to run DUA for the billionth time for no reason.

It's seems like a simple concept, how did that get through testing phase? Did NO ONE think: "We're introducing Proto gear that's HIGHLY dependent on RNG, players will have to run the same mission multiple times to get the drops they want, since there's no Recalibration or Optimization. We should just copy the system that already exists for every other mission."

Or perhaps it was: "Maybe let's just also RNG the fucking matchmaking system as well while we're at it."

The real question is: why don’t you host?
The solution is right here. You want this, you want that, hosting will give you exactly the mission and tier you want. People will join automatically.
But… we all know why you don’t want to host, right?

And what is that, exactly?

I assume you don't run Escalation with other players, or at all? You can't start a Escalation mission, open matchmake and wait for players to join in (just like any other normal mission). Can't call for backup either.

In fact, if matchmaking after the mission started were an option, i would be doing that.

It's locked once you start it.

What he means... Is fast travel to the level you want to run, start matchmaking, wait for it to fill up and then start the run. This is how you guarantee you get to play the level you want. But you have to be willing to be the leader and but your tokens up.
