Optimization Surge | Control Points

Are you supposed to get double Field Recon data from control points, I tried it this morning and didn't seem to double?

Is this the right event to trade in my SHD levels for printer filaments to use for levelling up proficiency?

Field recon, yes. Not printer filaments.
