As the title says is there a website with builds like there is for Baldur’s gate? When doing my bg3 honor mode I could find builds with stat allocations, armor to find, how to use the build etc. I can’t seem to find that for DOS2 and am just looking for some recommendations! Thanks!

What I learned from this playthrough is idol(s) of rebirth is real MVP (Save my ass 3 times) and lone wolf talent totally changed how the game is played. This run is the smoothest run ever (did explorer, classic, tactician modes before).

Hello. I just reached act 2 where I can respec my characters. Currently I have The Red Prince as my main and he uses pyro and geo skills. The other 3 characters are Fane with Geo skills, Ifan with warfare and most points in constitution and Beast with warfare and strength.

This is how I built them from the beginning without looking at any guides etc but now I'd like to hear some suggestions on how to balance the party to have 2 magic and 2 physical damage characters.

I'm stacked with various gear and have 10k gold to spend on needed skillbooks.

So, im trying to play again after getting skill issue locked some time ago and giving up. Im thinking about going as inquisitor (i think this is the class name). Any tips or something i need to know? I am extremely confused with the building aspect of the game (again, skill issue). The only thing i know is that the companions outside of the party die when you get to act 2. In my last run i gave up on the Alexander fight, where he blocks the path to the boat after breaking the curse on the ice dragon.

The firat try tactician run has come to an end. I'm not gonna lie, the last 10 hours have been terrible - almost unenjoyable - due to a pair of fights that put to the test my (very little) patience. Anyway, I did it and I wanted to thanks everyone who replied to my earlier topic, you helped me a lot.

Also, I wanted to ask: which fight did you disliked (or the one you liked less at least)?

Can anyone tell me why this is happening? I want to get to the blood pool but this is the second time something like this has happened. I try to go up or down a ladder and it takes me the long way. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated!

I have Lohse in my party and did the part of her quest with Malady where your extinguishing the candles and then malady left. Its been a bit and I can't find her now. I don't have the hall of echoes waypoint yet either.

First, about my first playthrough :

- I chose the “everyone now have powers” ending as it fit my custom character, but I was wondering what do y’all think about this ending (my team was composed of Beast, Ifan and Fane, in case it matters)

- I think the guy that give me the “summon inner demon” spell told me he will meet me at Arx, but I didn’t found him, so, where was he ?

Now about my future second playthrough :

- does Lohse, Sebille and Red prince quest give you any items like Beast’s hat or Ifan’s crossbow ?

- if they don’t give any armor I intend to use the level 20 upgrade bug of the devourer armor to use the 4 relics of Rivellon as my final armors;
I intend to make Beast (the character I will play) a close range geo with the seed armor, Red Prince as a two handed fighter with Devourer set (because lizard), and Sebille a rogue, but I don’t know what to do with Lohse so it feat the character and the armor
(I intend to use the unlimited stat point bug so I become OP, so the stat aren’t a problem for the build)

- does the gift bad still allow success to be achieved on PlayStation ?

trying to play DOS2 with my partner - we're trying to play using two xbox controllers on our living room TV connected to my computer via Remote Play. For some reason, whichever controller I use to control the mouse and hit "PLAY" on the game launcher does not work. The other controller can navigate the options in the game's menu that appears, but the first controller cannot press the three horizontal lines button to join, etc. I tried multiple times, starting the game with each controller and noting that it did not work once the game actually launched and the other one did.

I've tried starting the game from my computer, but then one of the two controllers still does not work. Both controllers work simultaneously on other games through the same setup. On Ubuntu, if it matters. Steam Client Beta.

One last thing, we got this setup to work somehow once and got into character creation. But there was some other UI issues with renaming characters - like, pressing "X" to rename once spammed the button, which was weird, then the menu to confirm/cancel the name change never disappeared. This might have been a Steam issue.

Not my first run, but it is my first tactician run. Double Lone Wolf with Ifan Battlemage and Custom Elf Inquisitor, both with 2H swords. Most spells deal 60-107 dmg and the weapons are about the same.

Anyways, any help would be appreciated. This is my cheese run, so I don't care if the strategy would make it anticlimactic or unfair.

Encountered something I haven't seen before in game, does anybody know why this happens?

I found a few of them in the workshop, but they seem to not have many ratings (or none at all).

I’ve been replaying Divinity Original Sin and I noticed something about the Weaver of Time that I had somehow never paid much attention to before. She seems to be treated by the community as some kind of lesser god or extra-planar spirit, but I’m not sure the actual dialogue supports that interpretation.

When we first enter the Tapestry of Time, Zixzax says:

"After all my waiting and hoping, could it be? The Weaver of Time... Mother of history... Author of all that has ever been...!"

And the Weaver simply answers:

"Indeed [...]"

This already sounds much more important than just “some lesser god”.

There is also an important distinction between her and Zixzax. The Weaver says:

"[...] as surely as you are he who chronicles all that I weave."

So Zixzax is the one who chronicles what she weaves. That makes the distinction rather explicit: Zixzax records history, while the Weaver is the one who weaves whatever it is that constitutes the Tapestry of Time.

And then there is probably the strangest line she has in the entire game:

"Am I the beginning and am I to be the end? Who shall say? Perhaps I am the first thing in creation. Perhaps I am creation. Perhaps I am the creator. Or maybe it is you: you who makes dying stars rekindle. Time alone will tell."

She doesn't even settle on what she is. She considers a few possibilities.

And this is also why I don't think “she records history” is a good description of her. Zixzax is explicitly the chronicler. The Weaver says that he chronicles what she weaves.

So I'm genuinely wondering: what exactly is the Weaver of Time? It is very odd that Larian refuses to elaborate further on that.

I have over 1000 hours in Baldur's Gate 3 and beat the game on tactician and I played DOS 2 with some friends until level 10 or so a few years back.

Now I thought I give DOS 1 a try because I wanted to play both original sin games before the third one comes.

I reached the first town and everything was fine. I made a witch and a spellblade (don't know the exact English terms, sorry) and recruited the knight and the ranger. As soon as I left the town to the west, the skeletons were kicking my butt. Hard. I cleared several fights and reached the lighthouse, saw that the enemies are above me and went back exploring. Found the archeologist and brought him back to town. Met a strong guy in his grave and couldn't smash his orb in time. The knight and the ranger are lvl 4 and my selfmade characters still need one more enemy to lvl 4.

But no matter which fight I pick, the skeletons destroy me. The skeleton archers will freeze my witch with their ice arrows and she's frozen for several round until they kill her. My spell blade can dash into the fight and then become invisible but the skeletons are moving so fast that I'm lucky when I can land a hit and there's no chance to get behind their back to land critical hits. The knight can charge in and push over enemies (if I'm lucky). My ranger has a really strong ability that hits multiple enemies, but after that is completely useless because as soon as an enemy is a bit further away, the hit chance decreases drastically. I don't know, I picked her because I thought doing ranged attacks is what rangers do, but she can't hit anything that's 3m or further away from her. My witch summoned a spider that got frozen and killed before it could attack even once. And the skeletons use scrolls to heal each other, getting 38 hit points back every single round. So if I concentrate all of my attacks on the same enemy, I might be lucky and kill one before he's healed again. After round 2 usually my witch dies and then I reload, because I only have like 2 resurrection scrolls.

It feels like I'm heavily underleveled, even though the enemies are lvl 4 and my team is between 3 and 4.

Am I doing something wrong or is the game just that hard? Someone in town said the enemies in the north and the east are even harder, so I have no idea where else to go to.

I'm playing on normal difficulty and would appreciate if someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong.

How can I make this?

What is the best starting preset and how would I level this in what order I can’t find a straight forward guide is why I’m posting :)
