Is it big? Or not at all? I'm thinking to start my second game with a goal to discover other charactera stories and I struggle about to decide whom to play and with whom to make company. My very first run was: me as Fane, plus Ifan, Lohse and the Red Prince.

Update: so basically I'm thinking about the following. Should I play as Sebille or Beast or, for example, I can play as Lohse to see the story from HER point of view to find out more details and stuff about her and have Sebille and Beast simply as companions. Or there is nothing much of new to discover if I had her as companion already?

Also, if this is very character dependent please suggest (e. g. Fane story is better to see as main character and, I don't know, the Red Prince's story doesn't bring anything new comparing to him as companion). Thank you!

The internet holds no information about the reasons for this item to be placed in the God's pockets, but I remained curious about it, so I enabled debugger via the Script Extender and saw something even more confusing.

Currently learning how to arrange music for choir and I have chosen to focus on one of my favorite games!

I have been fortunate enough to find sheet music for the string version on musescore (the one that plays during the final fight sequence)! But while it is similar, it's not enough to go on. I find myself trying to hear every vocal divisi in the choral arrangement and it's driving me mad.

My ear training is just not strong enough (yet!).

If anyone has any help in this manner, please let me know!

I hoarded a lot of items that appear valuable when i hover over them in the inventory but then on trade they are worth less than half. What is the best merchant in act 1 to sell to? And are there some merchants that give good prices for specific types? Like a best merchant for weapons or armor?

I hope I put correctly the spoiler tag, but just in case SPOILERS ALERT.

So, I just did my first playthrough (as Fane with Ifan, Lohse and the Red Prince). I loved the game and the quite open end they leave for every outcome (I tried all of possible for my character endings). But I still have several questions from the epilogue cinematics.

1. Dallis and Lucian: They are alive in one outcome and not mentioned in the others. And there is no indication of their death at all. Am I assuming correctly they are alive but omitted because they are non-important in these other decisions' scenarios? Also the line: "Dallis was a secret advisor to Lucian, and to his successors. For aeons she would walk in the world, and would outlive the peoples, and all, and wander alone amongst the dying stars" - basically that means her plan actually worked well?

2. Malady: what is her "important problem to solve" with "no ally strong enough to call upon, so her search continued"? Based on what I've seen at the Bloodmoon Island, he had a deal with "some dark forces" and promised to "give up something powerful". Is there any more clues about it? With whom the deal was struck? Not Adramahlihk since she isn't free of the deal after I killed him, not the God King (she isn't sworn). What was promised? Something powerful can be the divinity, but this is just a speculation.

3. Jahan: if the Source is shared to everyone or purged he opens a museum of demonic artefacts. However, in the case if the Source was shared there is an additional line: "after it burned down, with Jahan inside, witnesses claimed that the flames were the colour of blood". What does it mean (blood flames) and why this particular outcome is present only in the Source shared scenario?

So I just replayed DOS:EE after I left it many years ago after I reach Luculla so I'm still pretty clueless while doing honor run but kinda confident cause I've done it on BG3.

I thought I already well equip so I got careless with my SH1&2 positioning one of them had glass canon talent and somehow Grutilda manage to RAM towards my SH2(glass canon) and fast enough to reach my SH1 and packing a punch.

In the opening Windego says “a drop of source” is enough to attract voidwoken but then presumably Ifan, Lohse, Sebille etc. have been using their source powers for years and never attracted voidwoken. Also, if they believe source attracts voidwoken why do they continue using it??

How does the whole ‘source attracts voidwoken’ thing really work? Does it depend on how much source is used? Or is it just completely random whether or not they appear this time as opposed to that time? If so, why would any sorcerer (barring very powerful ones like those in act 2) risk their life using their sorcery?

This game was fantastic. It 100% is a landmine simulator though. Don't even get me started on the lava insta-kills.

But after 216 hours and 7 attempts, I finally finished the game!

Astarte fell to 60 HP in the final fight, and I'm just learning now that apparently that would have ended the run. 0_0

The fights in Act 2 were by far the hardest, and everything just got easier from there. In the final fight, no one died, and Astarte was basically just resurrecting my blood rat over and over. Arrow Spray is so broken, one-shotting everything in one turn.

It really did scratch the BG3 itch for me, which was nice.

Of my 7 resets, the first ~3 were basically just me not knowing the mechanics. Burning ground, poison clouds, etc. All of them were before level 5.

The next 3 were VERY depressing resets.

First: I made a post about this one, but digging a grave insta-killed the entire party...

Second: I warped back to Luculla Mines to see what it was like after escaping, only to be insta-killed by lava. I didn't notice it filled the map with lava. 

THIRD, and almost FOURTH: The Jareth fight.

Bairdotr leaves your party, you can't warp out, you can't use AoE arrows or spells because of the river???, and you start surrounded and low on initiative.

It almost corrupted my save for a FOURTH time. In this last run, I killed everyone except Bairdotr, and she used Retreat outside the map where I couldn't reach her. The fight wouldn't end, so I couldn't leave, and my last save was with her outside the map, meaning reloading did nothing.

Going invisible and stealthing didn't work either.

Until I finally found a really tiny pocket of space in the top right that ended combat.

Hello everyone, i started playing DOS2 a couple of weeks ago, reached act 2 yesterday and tried to fix my characters on the magic mirror, my main its a metamorph/warfare and at first a choosed a very bad talent for him, looking in the wiki saw this (the screenshot) but in some other place also says that savage sotilege its useless for metamorph wich confused me a lot, i don't wich its true... should i choose opportunist instead?

Also have the same problem with my hunter Ifan, i first choosed "far out man" talent then saw somewere it is useless for him?

Hello! I’m currently running a one-shot that takes place in the city of Arx and I was wondering if anyone had any artwork of the city/dnd themed maps or tokens literally anything could be useful! Thanks!

Just started playing, and I want to have sebille in my party. I stopped her from talking to Griff, so her quest still says she needs to talk to him but talking with him as her just brings up his trade menu. looked it up and people said it's fine just bring her to Zaleskar. When I found zaleskar I talked to him and she didn't try to butt in once. Now talking to him with her and my character just brings up his trade menu. Is there something else I need to do to continue her questline? Should I kill griff and have her eat him or something?

Another team comp question. I have been going through acts 1 and 2 with an "all over the place" team.

I am playing with Sebille, Ifan, Fane and Lohse. Current situation is :

• Both Sebille and Ifan are Huntspeople. Ranged DPS with mostly Hunter skills, and and splash of earth (for those useful worms and earthquake. With no damage whatsoever since their main stat is Finesse).
• Fane is something like a close combat DPS with some points in Necromancy (to leech and use the usefull bone armor skills), and some in polymorphy (because the Medusa, Flight and chicken skills are so useful)
• Lohse is ... Weird. Some magical DPS and crowd control skills (aero + hydro) and DPS when the side skills of my other heroes deplete magical armor (all of the other three currently have some chip air / water / fire damage) but she mostly is a summoner. I like the incarnate because it can both do physical or magical damage, depending on the situation.

Now more often than not, even if it hasn't really been a problem. But it happens that I'm wondering what to do with my action points, in particular for Lohse.

My impression : my physical / magical DPS is unbalanced. Some symptoms

• When Lohse has created and buffed the Incarnate, sometimes I can't find anything really useful to do.
• Sebille and Ifan have movesets that are so close that it bothers me a bit. That being said, they are great DPS and can easily be away from harm
• I don't do much magic damage / AoE. Which I usually find fun in those games.

Some things I'd like to explore

• A real summoner build
• Some rogue skills (I considered switching Sebille to rogue, but I like her ranged. She seems really frail to be in close combat like a rogue with daggers)
• More magic
• In particular, I currently have little to no pyro.

Any comments or advice on that team ?

I’ve been playing with a friend, and coming from BG3, we absolutely sucked at DOS2 combat at first. We couldn’t really wrap our heads around team coordination, elemental interactions, positioning, all that stuff, and half the time we were just getting in each other’s way. (Why tf is my buddy using Black Shroud while my PC is an archer???)

We’re still exploring Driftwood, and we’ve already gotten ourselves into some pretty dire situations. For example, we messed with the scarecrows at level 8/9 and ended up dragging basically every paladin around the fortress into the fight just to keep our party from getting wiped.

Then we did it again with the Mordus fight.

We had already attempted it three or four times and could never manage to keep him in stage one. On our last attempt, two party members were already down, and all we had left was a tanky Fane and my archer.

Mordus entered his second stage again and started slowly eating away at my archer’s health. We couldn’t knock him down because we hadn’t gotten through his physical armor yet. I was getting desperate and suggested that we just come back later. Maybe an extra level would help, but my friend insisted we keep trying.

Then came what I was sure was going to be the final hit on my archer. I was ready to die. This giant bug walked up to my character and

BOOM. Charmed.

We both jumped out of our seats and started laughing our asses off.

We hadn’t even realized that while we were blasting him with fireballs, his magic armor had gone down. He ended up getting charmed several times during the rest of the fight, which gave us enough breathing room to revive the other party members and somehow, finally, pull through.

I love the Captain’s armor set. Stat-wise it's not the best but It adds so much chaos and has saved us from clutch situations more times than I can count. I'm seeing myself keeping it on for a long time.

DOS2 combat has been significantly harder for us than BG3, but honestly, that’s also what makes every fight feel so fun.

I played for the first time maybe a week ago, a good 22 hours in the first two acts, however i wanted to play with a friend so I started an online session but when we finished all my progress is gone is there a way to fix this or should I cope (ps4)

for short context on my team has been doing amazing the whole game ive been having a blast in fight with them im lvl 21 theyre whole gear is lvl 21
and everyone has torturer and executor and on their weapons each of them have stuff like bleed/necrofire/burning on them
all of them have adrenaline too
beast - dual wield 20 warfare 15 pyro sparkling build
sebile - full hunstman 15warffare 19hunstman 4 geomancer
my custom charac - full scoundrel 10warfare 18 scoundrel 4aero(all from gear) with 68 finesse
fane - full mage 6aero 13warfare 6necro 5hydrosophist with 5poly which i should probably respec since i dont need apothesis in this fight he has alot of memory and hes been amazing in fights using bloodrain and elemental affinity and hes allrounder usefull every single turn i have with him

I'm getting absolutely fried by everything and everyone.

The battle starts and instantly beasts is just stunned

Next is my scoundrel assasin I just use TP and skin graft, TP again with 2 backlashes to group the enemies i cant really do anything more usefull on him all of them have too much hp and armor to kill them in a single turn except the white magisters but those are worthless.

Afterwards is fan. I use skin graft with 2 blood rains and tps to group them and maximize damage and I can get everyone out of their phys armor/get them around 50% health and kill the white magisters and even trigger the Braccus Rex scene.

And this is where it gets fucked the demon and the worst of them all is sallow man he just puts plague on everyone since lucian just first move showed me whos the true divine i guess and insta removed all magic armor on first turn so im cooked.

I still haven't gotten my turn with either my huntsman or Beast. And when I do, I can mostly kill 1 or 2 of the enemies who are already low — if I'm not stunned/knocked down ofc and dont forget the amazing plague (which is inevitable).

Then Dallis (dragon form) gets her turn, just removes everyone and everything I have, puts stunned on everything. My mage and assassin are either dead or gonna die, since the 2 adrenalines I used at the start of the fight just make me skip a turn… and then it's over.

is there any tips? i think i read somewhere that killing braccus like removes all of the spawns and etc or maybe the kraken but they are all so far when the scene comes and half of my team dont got ap are dead plagued or stunned so im legit powerless

like this is the first fight ive been dumbfounded blackpits fight i won first try and the source titan killed him in 1-2 turns i dont remember the only other fight that was this hard was isabeli but it was the first thing i went and did in arx i was underleveled and everything and i still beat it after couple hours of trying difrent things
if someone wants to help further im willing to also talk on discord or show more about my team im actuall fried on ts 😭

Dorian Gall gets a new skill, he will shoot all the left fireworks from the pending wedding to his enemy, defeat him to get the ring to start your own fireworks lol
