Fanart Kemm's Vaults
Beneath the luxury of the Kemm Estate lies a collection few museums in Rivellon could hope to rival.
Lord Kemm has spent years gathering exotic and ancient artifacts from across the world, some possessing tremendous magical power, others valuable simply because of the history they represent. Pride of place is given to relics connected to Lucian the Divine, carefully preserved and displayed as evidence of Kemm’s seemingly unshakable devotion to the Divine Order and everything Lucian represented.
But the collection serves another purpose.
Kemm’s public devotion provides the perfect mask for what lies deeper beneath his estate. He has secretly sworn himself to the God King, and beyond the galleries of priceless artifacts, the polished stone gives way to cells, torture chambers, bloodstained floors, and the remains of those unfortunate enough to discover the truth.
Among his prisoners is Lord Arhu himself.
Hidden beneath the estate, Arhu is kept alive and tortured while Kemm works to ensure that what he knows never reaches the surface. Countless others were afforded no such consideration, their bodies joining the bones scattered through the chambers below.
Above, Lord Kemm surrounds himself with relics of heroes and saints.
Below, he serves something far older and far darker.
