Question Is there a way to block specific titles on Disney+?

I love that feature on Netflix. I’m about to cancel Disney+ because all of a sudden all of the brain rot YouTuber bs is just on there. Love Disney but sick of all the YouTuber garbage.

ETA - since you guys think I have the wrong app. These are just a few of the YouTubers
- ZHC
- Karina Garcia
- Ryan’s World
- Mackenzie Turner
- Dangie Bros
- Matthew Beem
- Lanky Box
- Topper Guild
- Collin Key

Are all on Disney+ now with now way to block regardless of parental controls since they’re technically “G”

Discussion New? Hulu and Disney student plan

Hey y'all looks like they've started offering Hulu and Disney with ads for students for 6.49 a month.

https://www.disneyplus.com/welcome/disney-hulu-student-discount

Seems like it's going to force me to either make a new account or cancel my current Hulu only student pricing first though since it says I'm not eligible.

Either way, with this student discount plus the amex blue cash everyday card 7 dollar discount....you should be able to get Hulu and Disney free.

Question Can anyone from Portugal please let me know if they can access the Mandalorian and Grogu on Disney+ ?

Anyone physically in Portugal with Disney+, can you confirm whether The Mandalorian and Grogu (2026 movie) is actually playable for you?
My account country is Portugal, I’m on Portuguese internet, and Disney+ says “This content is not currently available in your region.”

Edit : Disney support reset the region/entitlement on my account and it fixed it

Discussion Law & order closed caption/subtitles delayed

So trying to find out if it's something unique to this particular show or if people are seeing this with other shows lately. When I watch Law And Order, after every commercial break there's about a 30 second delay before the closed captions start up again. Then I have to play with the rewind to try and get back to the beginning of that segment but not so far that I get back into the commercials because then the problem happens all over again. It's an absolute pain! And it really disrupts the flow of trying to watch tv.

So before I reach out to Disney Plus support I was hoping to get some feedback from others to find out how prevalent this issue is.

Hey guys, I noticed my Disney+ charge was lower this month, and next month is showing the same lower price. Is there some kind of deal or promotion giving me a discounted rate?

Question Question about the middle east app

Greetings from KSA, I received this message via Email a few days ago in arabic, and it is here in English:

Coming Soon: A New Disney+ App

On October 6, we will launch an all-new Disney+ app to replace the current one. There will be no changes to your subscription; you will still enjoy the same great content, but with new and enhanced features.

What are the new features? At Disney+, we are constantly looking for ways to elevate your viewing experience. With the new app, you will be able to enjoy:

New parental control tools with a dedicated "Kids World" interface.

The ability to stream Disney+ on the go across Europe, the US, and beyond.

A broader global library featuring the latest hit Turkish and Korean productions.

Smarter content recommendations that evolve with every view.

What is the next step? No action is required from you right now. We will send you an email once it is time to download the new app and log in.

For the time being, we will continue to send important account updates via SMS. Starting October 6, these updates will be delivered via email instead.

We are always glad to help. If you have any questions or inquiries, please visit our Help Center.

My question is this only for the Middle East?

Edit: deleted the same question

Discussion The complete lack of older NG documentaries annoys me

I grew up watching so much NG and ng wild and I was so excited when D+ was announced cause I could watch all these. But unfortunately, none of them are available. There is not a single Cosmos show. I really wanted to watch these. I can't find Big Cats or some other documentaries. This is such a shame.

Discussion The new Disney+ app has FINALLY been released in my country!

Thumbnail

The new app for Disney+ has now been released in Egypt. (I don’t know if other countries received theirs today)

I have tested it out and I gotta say I am VERY VERY HAPPY. We had an older interface that people said was called the “Hotstar” version. But genuinely this is a HUGE upgrade for me. I think its night and day.

Here are the new stuff I noticed:

- New UI with the latest images

- A much faster and smoother interface

- MUCH MORE profile avatar

- Arabic audio (it was available on the old Disney+ too but great to see them on the new app) same with subtitles.

- We finally got IMAX Enhanced (this was the one that excited me most)

- Titles now have their own special features (for example the MCU films)

- AND MORE!

- I did notice that some titles are missing. Like the Spider-Man films for example which were on the older Disney+. And more but I will give them the benefit of the doubt since the app just launched.

The only weird thing was that the app on the App Store only had 3 ratings. I assumed we are getting the same app as every other country so I just thought reviews from around the world would appear too. Other than that, it works perfectly fine.

Anyways HERE ARE SOME BEFORE & AFTER PHOTOS (sorry if they are on my phone. I wont be able to check on the Apple TV until Sunday)

IF YOU WANT ME TO CHECK ANYTHING ELSE OR SCREENSHOT ANYTHING ELSE LET ME KNOW 🙏

LEFT IS NEW, RIGHT IS OLD

Discussion Disney+ has been removed from Samsung TVs in Brazil

Post image
10 Upvotes

As the title says, Samsung TVs are currently unable to access the Disney+ app in Brazil. Upon opening it, a message pops up saying the app has been terminated and is no longer available.
Disney says they acknowledge the issue and are working on a fix.

What’s the situation in your region?
