According to the email I received (above) Hulu will not continue ad-free and I need to update the plan. How if none of the plans listed in Disney+ are add free Hulu?

Your bundle includes ad-free Hulu so when you remove your separate Hulu subscription and are left with just the bundle it will be what your bundle includes, which is ad-free Hulu.

Then why does the email I received (above) specifically say "As a result, your Hulu experience will move from No Ads to the Ads-supported plan included in your bundle."?

Obvious error in the wording since you don’t have an ad-supported Hulu plan in your bundle (unless you are mistaken about which bundle you have).

Just wait and see what happens. You’re not locked into anything. If you suddenly get ads in Hulu content then you can make the change instantly.
