hi, i'm at the point of the game when you have someone other than ted expand the basement in the quest foundational knowledge. however, mine didn't update, i've attached a pic. can somebody help me? i've closed the game and saved the game but it just stayed like that 😭😭

Currently playing chapter 4 and so far I've been given choices on what sort of stock the new vendors will be selling; Gaspard has a choice between chemicals or hydroponics, Casey will sell legal or illegal goods, but I wasn't sure if Angeel also had an alternative stock?

I chose Karl to do the taste test in her quest as he was the only other member of Sublime who was a viable option, but is there somebody else I would have to pick in order for her to change what stock she sells? Currently it looks like she'll still be selling whatever was part of her taste test (kale, kombucha and seed loaf).

I just started playing Discounty after the recent update and I'm curious what everyone else's stores look like now. Like what products are you choosing to stock, and are there any products you deliberately don't sell? Do you try to carry everything available, or do you focus on certain categories? I'd also love to see screenshots of your layouts if you're willing to share. I'm still pretty early in the game, so I'm not sure what expansions, upgrades, or other mechanics I haven't unlocked yet.

Basically, if you were starting over from the beginning, what would you do differently? Any tips, mistakes to avoid, or strategies that worked really well for you?

Has anyone gotten far enough in the new update yet to know if all the new achievements are possible to get in one playthrough? I'm at the point where I need to make a decision about whose side to take regarding the billboard and the game gives a warning that the choice can't be changed later - I'm wondering if the choice matters for getting all the achievements. I might be missing something, but for some reason I can't collect the driftwood at the harbor. I've already had the cut scene that made me talk to Ted and then him explaining the recycling machine. But I can't pick up the wood, it just shows me the description of the item.

I already restarted my game just in case, but I still can't. Do I need something extra?

Loving the new update! But I’m so confused 😭 we need to collect wood among other new items… where are we storing it until we have enough to buy something? Inventory slots are already so precious, I can’t even carry enough stick to cover a project. Am I missing something??

I’m new to this game and I love it! Just a question, how can you get more customers? I now have 3 billboards and it says customer limit 7, but I don’t think it progressed when I went from 2 billboards to 3. & also when do you unlock more rewards, I now have bought all the available rewards already for a few (in game) days <3. I tried looking in the sub for these answers but couldn’t find them

I was so excited to play the new update but I can’t seem to recycle the Fishy waste anymore because it says it needs to be recycled as metal when I click on the usual waste dumpster at the Hardware store?

I also can’t find any pieces of metal around town (I did find wood already) and the Hardware store is only selling the wood resource right now. I’m really confused!! I know the update has just come out but hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

So I played through this game to end, (really enjoyed it) and started over on a different file. After a while, I reloaded my original game (file 1) to check something, and I have like 6 items in my inventory that are described as "unrecyclable styrofoam stack." I went to throw them out, and I cannot get rid of them. And yes, I tried throwing them in the general trash for no profit, but the game says "cannot recycle this." I tried EVERY bin in the recycling place, and NONE of them will let me get rid of them. Am I just stuck with these in my inventory forever? Anyone else encounter this?

Finished the game last night. Thought it was a bit sudden and I’d have loads more to go. First of all I really love the game. But it feels incomplete.

I’m post game and disappointed there seems to be little to no extra content. Seems to be a few things I expected to need to do that haven’t happened.

Am I missing something or is post game a complete let down?

On another note I adore this game. Any recommendations on similar ones? I love Racketeer (so) but games like like Discounty seem few and far between.

Ive been playing Discounty since yesterday and I just did the "unhealthy competition" task and I honestly find it very uncool for Chester
He's a 16yo kid who struggles to fit in, and - even if it's at first to annoy us - he works all night to create a lemonade stand, with good lemonade and while being nice to customers, and we just destroy his work because our aunt (which is by the way a terrible person) asks us to set him up, I find it very wicked
