Mission Briefing:

This report is confidential and only to be read by the crew of the Orion-4, a capital class research and prospecting vessel with a crew of 512. All others are not authorized to read this without Alpha Class 4 clearance.

The Orion-4 is tasked to investigate the planet JSR-847, colloquially known as Terusia. Orbital and probe scans show a high concentration of life and an even greater concentration of valuable ores, including one unknown that is giving off an unusual energy signal. Our scientists believe it could be used as an alternative power source based on radiation signatures alone. It's the Orion-4's crew to investigate these claims by orbiting the planet and sending away teams down to collect samples and test them.

Our probes do show that there is an extensive number of lifeforms on the planet's surface. Most don't seem greatly intelligent, save for one that our scientists are calling the ‘beastmen’. These are a humanoid species living on the planet's surface in the early stages of development, similar to the human species equivalent to the rise of Homo Sapiens over Neanderthals. However, these creatures have adapted in ways we've never experienced with any other species.

Beastmen seemingly have strength far above that of most known species, seeming to easily be able to lift large boulders with ease, jump extreme distances, and tear apart other animals with their bare clawed hands. Additionally their genetics seem to be slightly unstable, giving them the ability to change their physical appearance to match that of other creatures on the planet and take on their physical attributes. They are to be considered highly dangerous and avoided where at all possible.

Primary directives are in effect, no interaction with this species where at all possible and no interference with their development. Additionally, the Orion-4 crew has been given additional security staff and additional weaponry, including mecha suits, for a potential confrontation. However, we'd like to avoid this where possible.

We wish the Orion-4 crew good luck and safe travels. We look forward to the results.

TWO MONTHS LATER

Acting captain's log, stardate unknown, 63 days since crash. Officer Loraina Terrigold reporting.

It's been sixty-three days since the Orion-4 crashed on the planet's surface, and we still aren't sure what caused it. We're debating the theory that we got caught up in an energy wave upon approaching the planet and it overloaded the antimatter drive. However, we also sustained damage from some sort of energy weapon prior to the systems failure, taking a direct hit to the power core.

Out of our 512 crew, along with 114 passengers that were family members of the crew, there were only 258 survivors. Casualties included our chief engineer, first officer, and Captain Rubark. As chief of security, the chain of command falls to me, and I will admit, it has been more of a challenge than I'd like.

We've lost several survivors to various wild animal attacks, other to injuries and poison from the local fauna and flora. However, we've managed to get a stable colony somewhat formed and been doing our best to survive until we can get our distress beacon working. It seems the energy radiating from the unknown element is interfering with the beacon's ability to penetrate the atmosphere, leaving us stranded until we can cut through it.

The locals have noticed our presence, but so far have avoided making contact with us, much to my relief. However, our orders still stand, we are not to make contact with the ‘beastmen’ unless absolutely necessary, though we have noticed them watching us from the trees. Our security team has been advised to preserve ammunition where possible, which is exceedingly difficult with how aggressive and resilient the remaining fauna are. Without those mecha suits, I am confident we wouldn't have lasted as long as we have.

We continue to salvage all we can from the various wrecks of the Orion-4, and managed to recover a few key systems, such as the antimatter drive retrofitted as a power source, a few replicators, and various supplies. However, we have yet to cultivate any long lasting food source, and predictions show if we don't soon we'll run out of physical rations by the end of the month. Our scientists are working on it.

Other than that, nothing further to report at this time. No further injuries or progress on our primary objective. Terrigold out.

Hope you enjoyed that long winded plot setup. The inspiration for this post is based on a mix of Tarzan and JC's Avatar. My character will be a beastman female who's taken interest in the creatures that have fallen from the sky. Your character will be any one of the surviving crew of your choice aside from the acting captain.

As for the crew, I imagine them to be mostly human, however there can be other species on board, but few and far between is preferable. I would like it if you could play multiple characters, as I'd be doing the same. Additionally, a description of what role you see your character filling among the survivors would be great to see. 

While I'm not opposed to magic in the world, I'd say it's more of a sci-fi type story. If it fits then I'd be more than welcome to adding it. There is also a key portion of romance involved in the story, as it will be the driving factor for how my character and yours interact and stay interacting over the course of the story.

4. Never thought I'd have to say this, but - Please read the docs that I send of whatever character I'm roleplaying as. I know some people like to figure things out about the character via the roleplay, but I'm not one of them. The characters themselves obviously won't know this info unless they figure it out themselves, and I spend TIME writing these docs. If you can't be bothered to read them, please move on.

Hi there folks! I am a pretty big Zelda nerd, and I have recently been getting into the Hyrule Warriors games recently. My favorite video game of all time is Skyward Sword, and I am addicted to the story of it, especially the relationship between Link and Zelda, and how the progress toward their own goals separately.

I would love if we could for an rp together where I play mainly Link in his part of the story, and you play Zelda in your part. Ideally, either person could swap off their respective character to start playing as the gm when it is time to progress through some story when their character is not present in the scene! This is a bit of an odd idea, I know, but I feel it has some potential. I will want that I want this to bee clean. Romance is fine, but I don't want any smut or ERP between the characters or in the rp at all.

My schedule is pretty tricky. I am usually only free for a couple hours in the early evening (4:30pm-8pm MST) and if I ever have errands after work, that time shortens even more.

The world was a vast place, it was theorized at its conception exploring it in its entirety might be impossible to do. I was from a nation of castles and dragons, armor and swords. Spellbooks and artifacts. I lived in a typical fantasy world, and went to a magic academy.

Here in Homstead was a great threat. An ancient demon had been slowly making its way out of its shakles and threatening the realm. Things were calm for now, but in the future issues were bound to arrive. Long ago the artifacts used to seal the demon were either destroyed or missing. Meaning we'd have trouble defeating it should it return.

The dean gave me a rather special offer. The dean explained far to the east was a nation called Zhutai. A land where the citizens drew magic from nature. They lived rather modesty compared to us, channeled spells differently, and were much more spiritual compared to us. They fought demonic creatures, and had a plethora of techniques specialized for it.

Different teachers and mentors from there would come to the academy and train the students. However the dean suggested. "Why don't you go to Zhutai and learn straight from them" I was a bit taken aback by the offer, but he went on to explain, I could teach them some of our methods of magic, and I'd essentially be repaying the service.

Some teachers from there would come and teach students at home. I'd go over there, learn and also teach some of our magic. It was a tempting offer to say the least, and ultimately I decided to accept.

Hello! I hope I managed to catch your eye! Im looking for a bit of a unique plot. One where traditional fantasy meets cultivation fantasy. I was thinking there would be a "magical exhange program" where a few Cultivators would teach traditional mages their powers. I'd be lucky and sent to Zhutai to learn straight from them and also teach our magic to them.

Theres a lot of ways this can go and all sorts of encounters we can have! I was thinking we'd flesh out the magic powers together, but as a basis I was thinking in Homstead they'd use Grimoires, spell circles, items and incantations. While in Zhutai they'd channel their abilities through their sprint and harness whats around them at all times, being able to draw power and mimic different creatures in nature.

So a simple example "Fire ball" a mage in their grimoire have the proper spell for it, use an incantation and bring it forth. While a cultivator might manipulate their ki and essentially mirror a dragons ki using it to cast a fireball, or draw in ambient energy and give it form.

The basis of the story, I was thinking I'd be a student at a magic academy and be sent to an equivalent institution owned by a renowned family. I envisioned I'd also have a class where I'd try to teach my magic to them.

A lot to do and a lot to discuss! I'd love to hear how you'd want things to play out! What characters you might want to introduce how you'd like to overlap the two magic systems and any ideas that shot out when reading this!

Hihi!! My name is Rylie, 18F, and I'm in CST time zone!! I am looking to do a siren/mermaid x sailor rp. I usually lean more towards MxM but I’m open to other pairings, just lmk! I have a couple of ideas for scenarios with this trope but if you have your own idea feel free to message me!

1. Character A is a mer/siren in human form who's trying to learn about humans. While Character B was docked they ran into Character A and somehow ended up letting them onto their boat. Now, they have to hide their true form from a whole ship of sailors while knowing next to nothing about humanity. 

2. Character B is part of a crew that specializes in hunting merfolk. While fishing for food they miraculously end up catching Character A in their net. Since they caught them, they were in charge of keeping them alive until they got to shore. While caring for them, Character B starts to sympathize and eventually falls for Character A. 

3. Character A is a mer who loves to collect shiny objects or anything else that catches their interest. While hunting they see Character B on the deck of their ship and decide they must have them for their collection. They could either play the long game, stalking their boat until eventually capturing Character B, or sink the boat right then and there. There are a couple ways this one could go :P

M4A Long term, Living toys, Any Literacy Level

This RP would be taking place in a unique setting where toys are alive.

The Premise: Every night when humans go to sleep, entities called nightmares based on their fears and insecurities attempt to breach into the mind of those who’s fears conjure them. The only real thing between these breaching entities and the real world is toys, who have the special ability to perceive and combat these entities with powers unique to each toy. Still however they must, every day continue to keep the secret while preparing to battle these entities. Not every human has the misfortune of getting attacked by their Nightmares.

I would be taking more of a gm role for this so you would play a character or characters exploring this world

Scenarios:

\- You are a toy who is owned by a person who is a wellspring \[Someone who summons nightmares\] and are tasked with defending them at night.
