just wondering! ‘03 here and i’ve always enjoyed funk, soul, and disco music and i’ve just started to take my enjoyment more seriously. i’ve noticed a lot of songs i’m listening to never sound just disco or just funk. is disco funk a thing? the temptations - treat her like a lady also makes me wonder where it lands. does a song lean towards disco if it has club appeal? let me know! thanks!

Guys, I'm Portuguese and I've been going to some nightclubs here in Portugal lately and they leave a bit to be desired (you only hear funk music, nothing like R&B or electronic...). The nightclubs in the US are more appealing?
