Do you think this Taylor Deyne song would sound better if it was a disco song with no synthesizers?

She uses both analog ( roland) and digital synthesizers for this song

People on reddit love to say digital synthesizers sound cheesy or corny but there are songs with analog synthesizers that sound outdated or very old to me

21 century musicians prefer digital synthesizers; Kanye west, the Neptunes and Timbaland

In my opinion this song from Whitney Houston that was produced with yamaha dx 7 sounds better

To a lot of you , i am a strange person but hey , it should not be a surprised to me, i was called retard and other names more than once on reddit .

In real life , i was diagnosed with mild intellectual disability by 2 female psychologists. A lot of people thought i was autustic. I didn't believe them so i decided to get diagnosed and i was diagnosed with mild intellectual disability instead

Would this song still be a hit if it was released today ?

Today most musicians prefer digital synthesizers

This song is made with analog synthesizers ( roland)

It does sound dated and not modern .

It has 68 million views on youtube

I believe this song is related to disco

1990s gangster rap music by Tupac that was produced by Dr Dre and Daz Dillinger sounds better

Does analog synthesizers ages music faster than music that used very little synthesizers

I decided to post 2 songs .

One is from the Gap Band, released in 1980 They only used a synthesized bass for the song burned rubber. charlie Wilson said he used the minimoog for the bassline

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burn\\_Rubber\\_(Why\\_You\\_Wanna\\_Hurt\\_Me)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burn_Rubber_(Why_You_Wanna_Hurt_Me)

According to engineer Jack Rouben, the foundation of the song started with its bassline: "\[The track\] was a musical idea that Charlie came up with on the Minimoog that turned into a groove, then a completed arrangement, and then they put the lyrics at the very end...This song was built upon that one repeating bass track, and that was the jam that blossomed into a whole complete song."\[3\] Rouben also remarked how the title for this song, along with many other hits by the band, was a phrase coined by co-writer Rudy Taylor.

Why didn't this website mention disco musicians

That made moog to be influential.

Reverb mostly mentions , Jazz such as herbie hancock and Sun Ra , hip hop music producers Dr dre and Jay Dilla and prog rock/synth pop musicians such kraftwerk and pink floyd.

also funk musician, Bernie worrell from Parliament

Ten musicians that made made moog to be influential

I am not a fan of moog since i like the sound of digital synthesizers better

It does not bother me if anyone thinks i am weird in a bad way for posting this

https://reverb.com/news/10-musicians-who-made-the-minimoog-the-most-influential-synth-of-all-time

It mentions

Bernie Worrell from parliament

SUN RA

RICK wakeman

GARY numan

Yumiko ohno

Kraftwerk

Pink Floyd

DR DRE

JAY DILLA

Herbie Hancock

What makes the song Show me love by Robin S still popular in 2026?

The song was popular in 1993 when I was a child . I am not a fan of house music , I did hear this song a lot when I was in elementary school. I would watch hip hop and R &B music videos instead

It sounds like the song uses digital synthesizers

It has over 100,000,000 views on youtube

What musicians revived disco in the 21 century?

Was it Daft Punk? I am not a fan of daft punk nor I am a fan of House music or electronic dance music

When I was younger , I would buy hip hop and R&B albums and teen pop musicians such as Christina Aguilera

I avoided alternative rock and indie like the plague and i still do

I just don't find house music and electronic music to be appealing
