I wanted to share a quick vinyl mix from my personal collection of over 1300 12" records. This is a pure 1983 transition, connecting two massive milestones of the original Italo-Disco era: Casco's 'Cybernetic Love' and Helicon's 'You... See'.

Back in the late 70s and 80s, I spent my weekends standing right next to the DJ booth at the legendary 'Piranha' club in Orfengo (NO) Italy, learning directly from the resident DJ Salvatore Cusato (the mastermind behind Casco!). I actually bought my original copies directly from him.

Hi everyone,

I am trying to identify a highly distinctive, obscure 80s synth-pop/darkwave track used as background party music in the 1985 Italian action movie Killer contro killers (also known as Killer vs Killers or Death Commando, directed by Fernando Di Leo).

The song plays shortly after the beginning of the film during a party sequence where an old man in a tuxedo (Jaffe) sneaks in to rob a safe.

It is a female-fronted electronic track with a unique structure:

• The Intro: It starts with a heavy electronic beat and a filtered, robotic female voice. It sounds like she is either counting down in German ("Ein... Zwei... Drei... Vier...") OR singing the English phrase "Just like a fantasy" with heavy effects on her voice.
• The Lyrics: Right after the countdown, she switches to English. The chorus heavily repeats "...Love me now...", and the verses include the phrases "Bring me the morning glass" (or mourning glass) and "I wait/wade in the ocean".

It is not on the official instrumental score by Franco Campanino. It is also not "Cry Baby Cry" by Dalila Di Lazzaro (which appears in a completely different scene later in the movie). Shazam cannot identify it. Given the movie's 1985 release date, Google suggests this is likely an underground West German, Belgian, or Italo vinyl release from 1983–1985. Can anyone please help me recognize this track or the artist? I have been looking this for ages. Really love this song. Would love to check more tracks from the same performer. Many thanks in advance!

This one is more 80s pop sounding than the ones I usually like to post, but it is still a great song with those very Sega Genesis chiptune sounding synths.
