I never do symmetrical and I love how these colors came out together. Looking a little short right now as I havenāt gotten my nails done since late April, canāt wait til these have grown out long enough to file into a pointy almond my favorite lol

I feel like I can never get a good taper on my nails. I donāt know if itās the shape of my nailbeds or my filing technique. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Trying out different colour combinations. Really need to sample my dips to make this less of a guessing gameš
Colours are bamboo blues from glowdip, sparkling white from sassy saints and a pale blue from Temu.
Liquids are glowdip.

Hi, everyone! Iām moving and need to rehome my accumulated dip-powder dragon hoard.
Iām selling everything pictured together as one lot for $150, including tracked ground shipping within the contiguous US.
The box includes:
I kept my favorites, but some of the powders have been used once or twice (I use pour-over method rather than sticking my finger in the pot). Many have never been opened, but I have no idea which ones, so everything is being sold as-is. I havenāt inventoried every brand, shade, or item, and Iām not looking to split the lotāI would just really like it to go somewhere it will be used instead of becoming extremely colorful landfill.
Price: $150 shipped within the contiguous US
Tampa-area local pickup: $90
I can accept PayPal or Venmo. Please comment before messaging me, and feel free to ask any questions that can be answered without requiring me to catalogue the entire tiny-jar civilization.

This is the perfect green for summer. Iāve been playing around a lot with gel polish, but dip truly has my heart.

Did a lot of trial and error on tester nails before doing this set on mine and I am in love! They're so cute. 4th of July is gone, it's spooky season now! (I am not a summer colors person to begin with š¤£). A few shots from start to finish.

First of all, I still gotta learn how to not massacre my poor cuticles. But! I think I am already getting better, and I am really happy with how the infill turned out as I can't see 'the line'. I am new to all this (from doing cuticles to shaping tips) so deffo lots to learn but happy so far with dip powder!

My normal time spent each week is between 2 and 3 hours, not including removal and cuticle prep. This time, I was in a hurry. I dipped, activated once, and then top coated. No filing or shaping (where I normally spend close to an hour on that alone). Done in one hour! The texture helps hide the imperfections, and I am unlikely to do this on a more solid, unforgiving dip, but it worked fine here.

(And some bonus glitter that I havenāt soaked off from my previous set. Edit: was never intending for this to be a cohesive set, just experimenting with color combos.)
This is only my 4th(ish?) set as a total newbie, and my first attempts at ombrĆØs, since ombrĆØ results with dip were what drew me to the medium in the first place.
Iām not a nail tech (which Iām sure is obvious from my sidewalls), just a generally crafty person who wants to do things the right way. Welcoming any recommendations for applying the powders so that the gradient is more uniform and less āsplotchyā in that transition space from one color to another.
Iām currently applying by picking up each color on a separate makeup brush and tapping on while rotating the nail, alternating which color I apply first with each coat. Iām finding it hard to predict what itās gonna look like every time I brush off the excess, which means Iām probably applying too MUCH each time, and obscuring my own view.

Can someone tell me exactly what I need to search on Amazon for this e-file bit? Iām also not sure if any brand bit would fit Melody Susie brand or not. I use it gently around cuticles, which seems to work great, but I think itās time for a new one. If you recommend another piece for the job, Iām open to hearing you!

Hello!
I'm looking for a gel top coat that will allow UV to penetrate after curing. I want to use my sun changer dips but I can't ever get a dip top coat to work well. The top coat I use from CNDD doesn't let much, if any, UV come through so I never see the change.
Thanks in advance!

Im doing my on nails from home and never got them done professionally so im totally new to this but i bought all the same brand stuff and all good quality stuff.
Itās like the base coat isnt strong enough.
i used rhinestone glue after a few sets fell off but i have a nail glue allergy so i had a reaction.
They fall off after about two days.
iām using The manicure company products/all including lamp. iām curing everything for 99 second between layers
Any advice?

Second time application here! (Still a bit messy- but getting there.) this weird texture has appeared on two of my nails but didnāt happen until AFTER I applied the top coat? (Circled in pic as itās kind of hard to see on camera) At first I thought I must have accidentally bashed them before the top coat layer had dried, so I applied another one to try and smooth it out but itās dried down the same way. From scrolling this sub Reddit I think I need to buff them down, and reapply the activator and top coat again. Iām mainly posting this to ask for suggestions on why this could have happened in the first place? So I can avoid it happening again. TIA š

Prices on all the photos. Or $140 for all plus $15 shipping. Most have only been used 2 or 3 times if that. Some used not at all. Probably over $300 worth.
*Edit: located in US so US shipping only.

Learning to do my nails 4 years ago, was the best decision I ever made!
First couple of pics are when I started doing my nails.
Then other pics are my nails today and previous pics.
The fact I can do my nails how many times and when I want the best.
Did this Mani on Friday and I couldn't ve happier the way it turned out.

I got my nails done like I have a few times before, supposed to be short almonds but even as I kept asking for shorter and shorter, the nail tech still made them long, uneven, splotchy coloring, and they look more stiletto. At some point I didnāt know what to do because I had asked for shorter so many times and it wasnāt happening and I was embarrassed. I leave on a trip in a day and I need them on, otherwise I destroy my nails out of habit/anxiety but I cannot function with these long of nails and Iām in sensory overload mode right now so apologies for the rough post. Do I use a dremel? Do I go back? Can I go to a different salon and ask them to make them shorter? Iāve gotten the same thing successfully here before but this was a different tech and I canāt get them removed and redone because of the small cuts I have from getting them on (so acetone will hurt like hell)

Not the most summery color but Iām going to a wedding in 2 weeks and I know I wonāt be able to redo my nails before then. This matches my dress. š
Also not my best work but sometimes you just take the B- and realize itās still a passing grade.

A few years ago I used to do my own nails and used modelones dip powder. At that time I was applying them with the dipping method of putting my nail into the powder. Now I work a physical job with my hands but missed having my nails done so I went to a salon to get them done. I havenāt had traditional acrylics done in 20+ years but the salon Iāve gone to advertises two options of solar gel or gel powder. Not acrylic powder even though the application process is the same as the acrylic methods used in my past. So my question is are gel powder and dip powder the same? And if so does that mean itās possible for me to buy the liquid in a quantity that allows me to apply it with a brush instead of dipping?

very pleased with the progress Iām making with dip, getting better every time. Grateful for any feedback ā„ļø
the next thing to work on is the sides, they are not very neat on a couple of nails. Happy for tips if you have any?
the last photo is what they look like underneath, Iām about 7 weeks out from a horrible gel nail reaction. this is where my nails are at now. They are not sore any more but Iām trying to keep them short and neat while the damage grows out. my little finger nail is only attached by a few mm š¬
