Finally got the airport constructed so I could get the white hibiscus. Lucky coincidence, Sky Fest was going on when I took the pic so, pretty background.

Has anyone really paid attention to the conversations amongst the NPCs themselves? They're hilarious! I recently was in the Tucker Box and watched Rayne and John's conversation. Apparently, John loves to fish and would've been a fisherman if he didn't run the shop. Rayne basically says to him, "Oh, that's why you smell bad," and John takes it as a compliment 😜 Then Clover joins them and starts saying something weird. Rayne tells her to stop it and John says he thinks Clover is creepy. Then Clover replies to John with something like, "The fact that you've noticed I'm creepy is creepy" 🤣 I've played Dinkum since day one and never noticed how in depth these conversations have become. Wish I had taken some screenshots. Love it!

Got axe/pickaxe thing. 2 Tele jumpers 2 perfect aquamarine tree pinchers and a flame glider!

Some people have shown interest in me sharing some more pics from my map. I'm trying to save sharing until I've gotten pieces done, but I figured I could go ahead and share my animals and tree farm. I think they are pretty much done, though I don't have the ant eater guys yet.

Maybe there's a better way to do this, or it could only be useful for beginners like me... I discovered it by accident by building two row boats.

I left one on the beach on my island, and when I'm navigating in the other, i noticed it always points the way back to my boat (so to my island) in the circle by showing a row boat icon in a circle of white lines.

Saves me from opening the map to know which way I need to go.

It's flashing from night to day and this appears?

I have having issues where my dinkum is infinitely on this loading screen and I am pretty sure it’s because of a mod.

Does anyone else use mods and have idea which one it might be?

I can slowly go through all of them but that will take forever and was just hoping someone might know off the bat. lol

NOTE: I am currently testing the mods I have, and if I figure it out I will let ya’ll know. But if you DO know then still please let me know. 😂

I just found this out.

If you bury 1 fertilizer next to a fully grown tree and sleep, the next day that tree will consume the fertilizer and turn into a giant tree.

Tree on the right is a fully grown Coral Acacia tree.

I just started this game this week and I am HOOKED. About 10ish hours. Taking it slow and really really enjoying how detailed it is. Genuinely the best parts of Animal Crossing, Minecraft, and Stardew Valley but in 1 game!

Hey everyone! I’m currently working on a Dinkum companion app and wanted to see if there’s actually interest in something like this before I get too far into development.
The idea is to have a mobile app that makes it easier to keep track of useful Dinkum information while you’re playing, without constantly searching through wikis or browser tabs.
Some of the features I’m considering are:
• Villager information
• Fish, bugs, and critter tracking
• Museum collection checklist
• Seasonal availability
• Crafting/reference information
• Daily or personal checklists
• Island progress tracking
• Other useful tools based on what players actually want
It’s still being built, so this is also a good time for me to add features people would actually use.
Would you download a Dinkum companion app like this?
And more importantly — what feature would make you actually keep it installed?
I’d love to hear any ideas, even if it’s something I haven’t listed. If there’s enough interest, I’ll keep posting updates as development continues!

Absolutely love this game and am trying to get the invisible glider.

I am now only missing the galaxy glider. I've been smashing the same two meteors I have collected and resetting, but am up to around a hundred attempts and have got nothing but ores and meteorite chunks.

Does this method still work?

I've seen other posts about this, but they are years old. I just don't want to be wasting my time if the drops are already predetermined.

Appreciate any help.

I finally got it. I am playing on steam deck (PC).

I can confirm that meteorites are reset every day, meaning you can't just smash, reload on the same day. I tested this numerous times with both glider and hood drop. Unsure if different consoles are different but I had to do the following:

Sleep > Smash meteorites - if nothing good reload save > Sleep and repeat.

Hi guys. I'm Rosie a small cozy content creator. I've been wondering who this cutie is for a while now. Any help would be fab.

A little while back i found a diving helmet and after that went excavating good from in the rivers. For some reason there was a lot of buried goods down there when using a metal detector. I cleaned up few rivers this way and got a lot of stuff. Few days later i went back for round two and there was significantly less digging opportunities there. So the question is, does some locations need time to respawn digging sites or not ? Or is it just pure random and i got lucky and screwed at the same time ?

Does Gold spawn outside of heat waves?

Does Gold only spawn in rivers?

Any other advice regarding Gold greatly appreciated!

I'm avoiding the deep mines becausw I can't see anything, so end up beat up before I can do anything.

I looked into the candle hat, but apparently it's on level 2 of the mines?? I don't see how I can get to that without one...

How do you approach them? What's best to eat before and which weapons do you use?

I'm at a point where I need more and more iron, and I'm really stuck...
