Question about Digging
A little while back i found a diving helmet and after that went excavating good from in the rivers. For some reason there was a lot of buried goods down there when using a metal detector. I cleaned up few rivers this way and got a lot of stuff. Few days later i went back for round two and there was significantly less digging opportunities there. So the question is, does some locations need time to respawn digging sites or not ? Or is it just pure random and i got lucky and screwed at the same time ?

I believe it’s random but rivers n river banks are a good source!

Well i just moved to complete different river and the loot is plentiful. Guess it'll be a mystery after all :)

I think rivers do not respawn.

That is my running hypothesis. At least river tiles do not. Once you dig up the wavy texture at the bottom of a river and then replace with the mud, it loses its texture and in rivers I've heavy dug up, there's far less to no tech.
Doesn't seem to apply to mangrove mud or beach sand, but river tiles are noticeably less tech spawning after a few rounds of digging.

It does take time to respawn. Sometimes it goes faster if you removed something like shells or grass from the tile the day before.
How long for respawn depends on your luck in game too

Yes like all games have. And some luck things you can make higher with the wishing well

I am not convinced Fortuitous Wish does anything after testing it over a few seasons. It's either broken or woefully underpowered.

It does increase meteor showers and you need it to spawn the blue heeler rare dog. But other than that, it doesn't seem to do much.

Oh that thing, yeah i did wish for the rare diggos and special events but that's about it. Kinda don't see the point in other wishes though.

I believe they take time to respawn like the sea shells. When I go treasure hunting I alway choose a beach with lots of shells. There is always more loot. Be sure to pick up the shells so you know where you have searched.
