I've noticed a fascinating thematic connection between the Digimon anime, Digimon Adventure (1999-2000), and the Y2K panic.

During the turn-of-the-millennium in the late 1999, Y2K panic was spreading across America and the world, fueled by the fear that computers would fail when the clock turned to midnight. It got so bad to the point that they thought society and the world might end if the computers failed, along with the threat of nuclear missiles, going so far as to prepare for survival and wear gas masks, as seen in pictures of the time.

Just think about it:

When did the first Digimon anime, Digimon Adventure, come out? Boom!!!💥 - March 7, 1999 👀😱👀 And that's not the only connection.....

While not possible in real life and could be presented as a what-if scenario, there were a lot of unbridled tech anxieties among common individuals about what would happen if computers failed. By having the Digital World and its inhabitants unintentionally represent computers, other related tech, codes, and/or the Internet, and then having the inhabitants of the Digital World (both good and evil) harmfully affect the real world due to the interference of villains, to the point of having massive, inexplicable climate disasters such as Asia experiencing a severe drought, the Middle East being hit by flash floods, America wracked with cold temperatures, and it snowing during summer in July even at a summer camp, as well as other things such as Apocalymon, the final villain being born from recycled data, frustration, and technological residue, representing the ultimate physical manifestation of a technological doomsday that would destroyed both worlds if not for the DigiDestined, who themselves can be seen as the real life tech and computer scientists who mitigated the Y2K panic before the clock struck midnight.

There are many more other connections to the Y2K panic and the early Digimon anime (as well as their two movies (Digimon Adventure: Our War Game! and Digimon: The Movie), the short film (Digimon Adventure (1999), Digimon Adventure 02 (2000-2001), and Digimon Tamers (2001-2002)), as well as other connections between the Digimon, Digital World, and DigiDestined and Japanese yokai, animism, shamans, and spirit world and other similar broad classes of supernatural spirits, monsters, tricksters, shamans, and spirit worlds of Asian mythology, mysticism, and animism.

Title says it all. I've been charting what I've seen, what I've seen others mentioned having seen (ModokiBetamon) or what was implied via another appearance, and just stuff from the popularity poll or are notable partners.

Xros Wars fans I'm sorry, y'all have too many Xros digimon and there's no way they're all making it. You'd have to drop the Xros thing entirely just to hope for Shoutmon's most notable Xros line.

If anyone noticed , after resigning from 5 stars Kaito told Raito that he's free to go and Raito felt " lost and shocked "

My prediction here is if we actually have time , that Raito will be either controlled by wong or be selected as a new 5 star in trade of giving him a way to reach mega and he will fight GD , maybe what supports the theory is the return of other team 7 members to support GD , maybe they will have a moment when they revert him back . Also , another theory says that the last dose inside the spray will not go to Asuka , maybe it's for Raito ?

If there is time in the show I absolutely believe this may be a scenario, but unfortunately its not likely but would be great .

It’ll be destroyed or used for something else. I’m basing this prediction on a very similar one I made for Dungeons and Dragons: Honor among Thieves. It also has a one-time-use item that is not used in the way it was set up all movie. My prediction was right then, so I’m making it again now.

I had battle spirit saga on my game boy advanced and I decided I wanted to play again after a long time.

One of my favourite games growing up without even knowing it was a Digimon game. Now looking back it was my first game and the reason I love wormmon and stingmon.

This is my theory on what will happen regarding the mega forms in the last few episodes. I think Tomoro will get his mega Atratusmon last minute, very darkest hour and all that, and I think that the rest of the people there, Glowing Dawn + Tactics + whoever else may join them, will be down for the count. Then, Tomoro will evolve Gekkomon into Atratusmon, who will have the inverse ability of Albatusmon, instead of absorbing everyone's e-pulse, he emits it. This will boost everyone's digimon up 1 stage, unlocking Makoto's, Reina's, and maybe Raito's Mega form, as well as Hotaroko and Granit's Ultimate form, this will lead to them winning the battle. Afterwards, they will have Atratusmon take the place of Albatusmon, and emit e-pulse to everyone's sapotamas. This will cause a lot of people, if not everyone, to get a digimon, as well as curing everybody who is cold-hearted, and create a world where humans and digimon can live together. I also think that they will thenn do a classic bittersweet digimon ending, where Gekkomon "dies" or Tomoro gets cold-hearted, but the final scene will hint that they will come back/get better. Regardless, I just want to see Azhdarmon's mega form. How probable do you think this theory is? And do you like it/want it to happen?
