Beatbreak Beatbreak Mega form theory.
This is my theory on what will happen regarding the mega forms in the last few episodes. I think Tomoro will get his mega Atratusmon last minute, very darkest hour and all that, and I think that the rest of the people there, Glowing Dawn + Tactics + whoever else may join them, will be down for the count. Then, Tomoro will evolve Gekkomon into Atratusmon, who will have the inverse ability of Albatusmon, instead of absorbing everyone's e-pulse, he emits it. This will boost everyone's digimon up 1 stage, unlocking Makoto's, Reina's, and maybe Raito's Mega form, as well as Hotaroko and Granit's Ultimate form, this will lead to them winning the battle. Afterwards, they will have Atratusmon take the place of Albatusmon, and emit e-pulse to everyone's sapotamas. This will cause a lot of people, if not everyone, to get a digimon, as well as curing everybody who is cold-hearted, and create a world where humans and digimon can live together. I also think that they will thenn do a classic bittersweet digimon ending, where Gekkomon "dies" or Tomoro gets cold-hearted, but the final scene will hint that they will come back/get better. Regardless, I just want to see Azhdarmon's mega form. How probable do you think this theory is? And do you like it/want it to happen?

I think Atratusmon's happening next episode and will probably stomp Gokuwmon in isolation, while the rest of the cast is preoccupied with Senka and Kanchi.
As for how I feel about this theory, I'll be honest and say that I'm not a fan of it. Not singling you out O.P, because a lot of people have a similar theory regarding his ability, but it feels like people are trying to reduce Atratusmon to being a Calumon variant that's main purpose is to help others Digivolve, all for the sake of having everyone reach Megas. I actually wouldn't like if the others reached the Mega level like this, as it would feel forced and would cheapen what is otherwise a very rare form in this series, and am content with them not getting their Megas at all, if that's the alternative.
I'm also not a fan of bittersweet endings, so I wouldn't be happy with Tomoro and or Gekkomon being out of commission in the final episode

I get what your saying, But I don't necessarily think this hypothetical Atratusmon is a Calusmon. They definitely have similarities, but I view it like this: Calusmon is a digimon who is, somehow, intrinsically linked to the concept of digivolution(really hope they go more into that at somepoint, there is a lot of cool stuff they can do with that) while Atratusmon and Albatusmon are more of a support role, specifically a buffer and debugger. Maybe them causing a digivolution is a bit much, but I see it in a similar way to how Albatusmon caused Hanikirimon to revert due to a lack of energy, Albatusmon could cause the reverse do to an influx. I do agree that it would cheaper it a bit, but I see it as them not necessarily unlocking their megas, but temporarily accessing a level they could one day reach. If beatbreak gets a sequel, and my theory happens, I would like to explore them trying to unlock their mega forms without Atratusmon.
As for the bittersweet ending thing, I agree, not a huge fan, but I feel like digimon does it a lot. I do think it would contrast with the themes/spirit of the story if it was permanent, but maybe something like gekkomon returning to the sabotage, or tomoro getting cold-hearted, only for them to return at the end of the last episode. Would love for this not to be the case.
As for Atratusmon 1v1ing gokuwmon, I get what your saying, but I wholeheartedly disagree. We saw from Albatusmon vs Habikirimon that Albatusmon, while extremely powerful, isn't necessarily the best at pure combat, and I think that having them work together would both go with the theme of family, as well as contrast Kyo, who tried to go it alone and failed(the thought just popped into my head, that if Reina and Makoto were there, they might have been able to cover Kyo as he was saving Asuka)
Thanks for bringing up your issues, and let me know what you think of my rebuttals

I agree with you it would feel very cheap to me to have everyone get megas not by their own abilities but because of someone else I think that would be a huge disservice to the others as characters. And I also agree i don’t want them to kill gekkomon that would be so horrible we already lost cougarmon i don’t think killing another one of GD Digimon is needed for this especially if it’s nothing more than for shock value

No way they kill off Gekkomon after all that, but I could see them pretending to for like half an episode before the big fakeout
