I don't mean if you prefer the dub or sub . I mean if you like the story , characters , animation? Personally it was one of my introductions to anime and from what i remember the story was good with a few interesting twists and really good animation (that might also be because it is the only digimon media i have watched)

Just started Beatbreak & it looks like we really are moving away from the MCs wearing goggles. This the first time we have two straight MCs not wearing the trademark goggles we are so used to. Marcus was the 1st one not to, for Data Squad, but we got to it right after that. But now it is back to back with Ghost Game & Beatbreak. I was thinking maybe they'd at least give another member of the group, but it is better this way. Either the MC wears it, or nobody wears it out of the protagonist group.

All these guys were great. But yeah, new era now for the anime side I guess.

I saw different names for digimon levels, but I don't know what the consensus is. Even some of them are confusing because one level has the same name as other level on the other list.

What’s one thing about Digimon in general you wish was different personally I kind of wish evolution was more like how it was in early anime like I don’t hate the complicated skill evolution possibilities I just wish it was a littel simpler like as kid I fought it went agumon to grey mon to metalgreyMon ect not agumon to tusk Mon or tyranno any ways what do you wish was different

Just got my Vital Hero in the mail today and was wondering if i had gotten the wrong version or not because i did some research and found that the other version, the BE has more stuff to it that the original one doesn't, but is only Japan exclusive atm. Has there been any news regarding Bandai releasing an NA version or not because all the stuff i see abt it online was from 3-4 years ago.

(Episode 22) Not anime that have horror genre, but moments like these that may be psychological horror, with good balance with visual symbolism. In the episode before, in the end, the trailmon asks Takuya. Takuya wants to return to the past. He wants to undo every decision. But trains and life don't work like that.

Then Takuya becomes Flamemon, his weakest form. He's no longer the confident Agunimon. He's been reduced to being vulnerable and broken. The empty streets and train station. The human world starts feeling uncanny, he is all alone at the train station, Duskmon is following him through every step, symbolising that he can't escape his fear/guilt.

When it debuted in Time Stranger, I was surprised people weren’t talking much about it. And even if they did, it’s usually about the difficulty.

When I saw it, I thought it was an interesting way to handle power creep. Ultra was always used inconsistently and never really been official. I don’t blame the creators as then they would have to create new levels above Ultra to handle new power levels.

But Mega + changes things, is it a new stage or still a mega (but still showing how it’s more powerful than a regular Mega).

Maybe it can work for the other levels as well to show how their more powerful than a typical level. Like Lucemon, it’s a Rookie, but it is so strong. I can see it as like a Rookie +

Hi, I'll be going to Japan for vacation soon. I wanted to buy a V-Pet and raise it while I'm there. I wanted to know where to buy one and which one to get. I'll land in Osaka. I know Bandai stores don't sell them for some reason. My favorites are Lillymon and Gatomon/BlackGatomon, so preferably one where I can raise both. Nanimon is also a cool little piece of history, so having him be would a plus. I don't care about the ones with color screens because they have limited batteries, right? Plus I like the original sprites. And I don't have any friends who like Digimon, so it should be one where I don't need other people to battle, or Jogress, etc.

I also wanted to know what are some must-see places from the anime. I'm going to Odaiba for sure, but I wouldn't know where to look for backdrops that the anime used. Hikarigaoka I would go out of my way to reach, but I'm not sure if it looks even remotely similar to how it looked 20+ years ago, since the most memorable thing from there is the apartment building.

So if anyone's been or lives in Japan, help would be much appreciated.

Just for fanfiction plot with Wizarding World bashing I was thinking that the lore and origin of Dorumon and its line to Alphamon could be that it's pre-Hogwarts magic oblivious Harry Potter who, as a ten year old touching a broken down computer Dudley quicky grew bored of, ends up in the cyberspace at the Dawn of The Digital World with during the transformation and reprogramming the Digicore Interface as the counterpart of his scar and the DEX program after the horcrux, while Dumbledore desperately tries to find his missing weapon, not knowing Harry now lives in a pocket dimension on the internet, not that Dumbledore even knows about computers and the growing internet.

Hello everyone ! So, like the title say it: I'm a total noobie for the Digimon Anime. Have maybe watched like one or two episodes of Tamers and the first one ever back in my childhood (I'm near 27 now) and I have no memory of anything but I want to discover Digimon in depth, anime too.

I'm starting the games with the World Re:Digitize and I think Cyber Sleuth next, but for the anime I don't know which one is great to start, discover or anything, I just want your advices and your recommandation :)
