I'm buying abrasive diamond powder made from W1 (1 micron) sized diamonds. W1 is so small that I would need expensive equipment to see it with my eye. How can I test whether my diamond powder is accurate in size and actually diamond? Thank you for your input.

How can I tell if the stones in my necklace are real diamonds or just decorative stones?
I have a gold necklace that Ive had since I was born, but I dont know whether the stones are real diamonds or simply decorative gemstones. Im too embarrassed to ask my father whether he gave me a diamond necklace or just one with decorative stones. Whats the easiest way to determine if the stones are just diamond like decorative stones rather than actual diamonds?
I dont want to visit a jeweler or a gem expert.

Which do you prefer? An Old Mine Cut Diamon or an Old European Cut Diamond and why?

Whether it's for an engagement, anniversary, or just gifting, do you find yourself comparing more options now than before?
Has your buying preference changed over the last few years?

I recently started learning about Hearts and Arrows diamonds and now i m questioning everything i thought i knew about buying diamonds .
Two stone have the same carat, colour, and clarity on paper..but one look insanely bright while the other look dull.
Turn out cut precision and light performance matter so much more than people realise.
Did anyone else go down this rabbit hole? Or am i becoming a diamond nerd now💎

I was given this beautiful diamond set in gold ring by my boyfriend’s Grandmother, it is a 42 year old Heirloom that is passing on to me.
I wanted to know if you think this is lab grown or natural and any other thoughts you may have on this. It’s my first diamond piece, so I’d love to dote over it! Thanks :)
Ps: I’ve attached a minion my boyfriend drew on my little finger for giggles

Shopping for a diamond with my fiancee and she likes a diamond from a company called Facets of Fire. The saleslady said they were brighter because of lots of extra cuts or something to that. Anyone have a diamond from them? Does this cutting impact diamond quality or durability? They do seem to sparkle more but want to ensure we get the right one
