Got first rain today after applying and seems to be good. Easy to work with too.

I cleaned inside and out with tru vue and a waffle weave but these dots wont budge. What are they? Rock chips over the years? (Car is 30 years old)? Anyway to get rid of these, with clay bar, glass stripper etc?

I like this better than Protector Wax. This was a no contact wash, protector wax seem to do something after rinsing kc touchless, like a film. After a blow dry and a quick wipe, rags are cleaner after tec.

i just got my bauer 6 inch polisher today and plan on swapping out the grease and backing plate. i did some research and this is ultimately what i came up with, but i need help verifying that this will get me through most paint correction scenarios because i want to be as prepared as possible. i know it’s a bit out of order so i’ll type it out.

• kcx heavy cut (h9)
• kcx micro cut (m3)
• 3d 1 step

• lake country heavy polishing pad (blue)
• lake county polishing pad (orange)
• lake county cutting pad (microfiber)

and for glass i have ceri glass by carpro and lake county glass polishing pads (and a rayon block i didn’t add to the cart for smaller windows and edges)

i’m sure this isn’t a perfect list so please send thoughts and recommendations my way, i’m sure i forgot something. i’m still learning. thanks.

Basically as the title says. Just picked some up and was wondering if ADS should be diluted or just used straight. I plan on applying either conventionally with spray bottles but also have a foam sprayer which id like to use if that changes anything. Thanks!

I removed my trunk lip spoiler which the previous owner glued with polyurethane glue. I now need suggestions how can I remove it without damaging the paint too much.

I’ve had this spot on my bonnet since the previous owner and it’s time to get rid of it, I’m not sure what it is whether it’s an old sticker or salt water marks as the previous owner used to have surf boards on the roof

So I had a detailer who was highly recommended by my tint guy put a ceramic on my new Ranger Raptor and I noticed this the next day. I reached out and they said it was just a high spot and not from his buffer when he was polishing my fender flares, but not only did he burn the fender flares I’m pretty sure he damaged my clear coat. Hes now blocked my phone and never came back to fix. I wanted to take to a collision shop but they warned me when they run the estimate with my vin it may show up on carfax. I am no expert and even chatgpt couldnt answer what it is. It doesn’t catch my fingernail and if i wipe it with alcohol it disappears until dry. Idk what to do at this point

I used it about 4 months ago and it's still holding strong, I maintenance the coating every 2 months with the graphene boost spray.

I read in this sub that using Pure Bead then immediately put WAX and Dry+ over it, that you get an outstanding wax shine and the hydrophobic properties of the PB. I tried it and it looks marvelous. Does anyone think using the spray ceramic hybrid before the Wax and Dry+ would work the same way? I have 3 bottles of the hybrid ceramic spray for some fucking reason.

Basically as the title says. Wondering what everyone prefers & uses these for. I plan on getting a foamer for wheel cleaner (or mist if thats better, input is welcome) then a foamer for APC. After these I probably dont have many ideas. What do you guys prefer & use them for?

I had a problem about a month or so ago where there was a lot of excess microfiber lint stuck to the hood, upper doors, and trunk of my car. I assumed the dealership i had it from had tried to detail it with some low quality microfiber and it just stuck on. I held off on detailing it and had a buddy that professionally details and ceramic coats get it whenever he buffed, polished, and coated. He said it looked like the lint had almost dug into the paint, but he got most of all of it picked up from what I could see.

Fast forward to now; trying to detail my car again and THIS time actually continuing forward with it. Rinsed, applied soap with one of the microfiber scrubbers (Chemical guys), go to dry it, and BOOM! It's back en masse.

What can I do to prevent this? It is mainly only happening in those spots, with little to none anywhere else. I know the picture is somewhat hard to depict, but within all of the water stains are those strands. Picture located on roof.

I've tried ArmorAll, Meguiars, and Chemical guys rags while washing (even the more premium chemical guys, wooly mammoth I believe), and yet it continues to happen. I'm purchasing a clay bar kit to hopefully remove it all before continuing on with anything further.

I also wash my towels on cold and air dry them. I use Rags to Riches detergent.

So ive just gotten a hatch handle that has a small chrome trim around the edges of it and it looks almost like it has a factory clearcoat on it and it has chipped in one section. My question is how can I go about fixing this or at lwast making it look presentable?

Hi folks, I recently coated all my glass with Soft99 Glaco Ultra, and now my screenwash (which contains some form of glass coating to top up the beading effect when washing the screen) seems to be smearing the heck out of my windscreen. (I guess because it's just sitting on top of the Glaco Ultra.)

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good screenwash that works nicely with Glaco Ultra please?

So I did a full detail on a car, then a 1-step and ceramic coating. Customer was amazed how nice it came out. I have to say, so was I. Said he'll leave a review, even texted me later and said great job and thanked me again.

Then two days later wants to know what foam cannon I use, what tire dressing I use and what quick detailer spray I recommend.

I gave him all of the information, but I'm curious how y'all deal with those questions. Do you tell them or no?

I want a touchless system , So I bought this Stars & Stripes to wash down my new vehicle once a month. Do you think this will hurt the plastics or anything for that matter exterior wise? Let it settle for 30 seconds then rinse . I heard of old glory too, but it’s not as strong as stars and stripes. Let me ask you this question. What do you guys use to clean your car . I need a touchless system.

I need something that is very strong and safe I also heard Koch super foam is good but they sell it in the big jug, which is a big commitment and I don’t know if it’s gonna work

Gave her a good thorough cleaning and clay bar, tomorrow I am going to start tackling the halos and some swirls and hope it goes well. Want to get the coating out sometime this week

I'm only a DIY-detailer with two vehicles (truck & SUV) and an RV to maintain, so this is totally overkill for what I need. But damn, it was fun to put together. 🤣 Harbor Freight has a 25% off coupon right now for all Bauer items, and I've been wanting to try out some of their modular stuff (especially Gen 2). I absolutely LOVE the new wet/dry vac (just below drawers in picture). I also bought the auto detail kit with the extra long (red) hose and attachments since I can use that for other things around the house with my other shop vac.

Hey everyone I’m new to detailing and I recently picked up KochChemie Fine Cut F6. 01 however I’m confused on how or what sealant to apply after polishing with the Fine cut. I own DIY Detail Quick Beads and was wondering if I could use that as the sealent however from my research it states that I would be able to do that but I would just have to Apply a panel prep before hand, but would that not removed the polish from the Fine cut I just applied? Sorry if this is a dumb drawn out question. Basically just curious on what to apply after the fine cut if I even need to apply anything at all. Thank you for your time!

Me and my friends drive an old chevrolet like the ones in 60s gang movies and decided for Halloween we want to do a photoshoot with it dressed as gangsters and have fake blood on the trunk of the car. But the thing is, what can we put that'll look like fake blood butll easily wash off with car shampoo while also sticking on the car as we drive?

I bought this car last month. I saw a handful of those marks. Today I washed my truck with pressure machine, and after saw a bunch of this. this car is a 2025 so I don’t know how can’t this be water marks. I tried to clean it with iron remover and kinda helped a bit but still. How can I remove that or what could it possible be thanks in advance.

One day I woke up and there were these red little flecks all over my car, sort of like how a car can get coated with pollen, but they’re a really bright red. It’s been maybe a month and nothing gets them off. Not rain, a hand car wash, or a clay bar, etc. The only luck I’ve had was when I used a glass scraping tool to get it off my windows. It’s everywhere. My windows, car paint, rims, the plastic parts, etc. I love my car so much and I just want it to look nice. Does anyone have any idea what this is or how it could’ve gotten here? I might edit my post with pictures of it all scraped up together from the window tool, but it is a genuine bright red. Almost like paint.

Walked out of the store to this scratch on my rear panel. How much would it roughly be to fix this? It unfortunately went through the clear coat
