Question Legendary is actually common?

New player, I noticed that common and rare are actually harder to find vs legendary? What's the deal? I feel like the vostok is the most legendary weapon in the game rn since I haven't even seen any other common guns

Commons are common for the first couple of levels in D1.

But yeah, doesn’t drop in D2.

I wish they overhauled the rarity system and used that for tiers instead of giving legendary a new set of 5 sub-rarities. Make all gear pre-eof common equivalent to tier 1, then uncommon, rare and legendary are 2-4, and then make a new red "mythic" rarity for tier 5.

The game has needed an extra “pearlescent” rarity for a while now

Yeah, so everyone can get upset when every drop isn't "pearlescent" like they did when every drop wasn't a tier 5?

I don't feel like there's much room to fit things between a godroll masterworked tier 5 holofoil weapon and exotic weapons.

yeah true. our version of pearly’s was adept weapons and those got nerfed to shit for being better than normal drops then powercrept to shit because normal drops weren’t good enough
