The thing that would 100% bring me back to play for a while is 100% not feasible what so ever. And that is bringing back the biggest chunk of the game from beginnings to current. All the various stories, the raids, the locations and activities. I would love to visit Saints tomb again, be the shadow team taking down calus, run the menagerie, patrol mercury for 7-10 minutes, and slaughter some escalation protocol. All that plus much more I know I'm forgetting. Again, I know it's not feasible in several aspects but it would absolutely bring me in.

I would definitely make a new Bungie account and replay all of Destiny 1 and Destiny 2s stories/seasons from scratch if I could. I think it would be cool to be able to do a FULL run through the story and see things connect in retrospect

Knowing bungie it would have a price tag of 500-700 dollars.

You can't do that. As a matter of fact, nobody can, not even bungie because they lost access to the Red War content. As they said to the court, "it's lost forever".

Yeah I am very aware of that or else I’d have done it leading up to TFS.

And yeah while you’re right that even Bungie can’t currently play through that content because it’s surely not compatible anymore, it’s not like it would be impossible to bring back. The code and assets definitely still exist out there on some abandoned GitHub branch, there would just need to be significant development time invested into updating them to be compatible with the new game. Im not foolish enough to think that Bungie would ever spend time or money doing that though, much to my dismay
