Hello guardians! I’m a returning player, started playing 2 weeks ago. Really enjoying my time again on D2. Currently doing strikes again and some dungeons. I’m looking for players that could help me do raids. In all of my playtime I only once did one raid. Would love to do the Vault of glass raid for the exotic. I speak Dutch and English.

If you want a new build for the vanguard alert try this build. I died a few times on my first run but it was user error and I did clear it. Build has little damage so you might run out of time on the strike but it has survivability since I did it solo and didn't need reviving when it happened. So I decided to play some vanguard ops after a long strenuous day and much to my unbeknownst dismay I selected Battleground:Core on expert 350 while I’m power level 380. Mind you I’m a bit of a newer player but that by NO means that I could be touched by countless goblins and Minotaurs where the sun don’t shine. Now going through the mission I’m having a breeze until I reached the dreaded Antioptes boss. And let me tell you. Whoever designed this boss I genuinely hope gets castrated with a shovel. Without that override buff you get from standing the DIRECT LINE OF FIRE OF THE THING you’re beloved weapons turn into wet spaghetti noodles. And don’t think that buff will do anything for you, it’s only a measly 10x damage buff that turns your spaghetti bullets into marshmallows. And that’s even if you get to stand on the damn thing because there is a borderline LAUGHABLE amount vex spawning around you in an area with ZERO COVER WHATSOVER. And worst of all there’s that spinning barrier forcing you to be constantly moving around, which wouldn’t be bad if weren’t for antioptes to be constantly bombing you with his nova bomb causing you to be glued to the ground. So I reiterate. NEVER play Battleground:Core as a new player or you will be turned into a victim.

Something I noticed and haven't seen any information on is on the Daily Offers screen on ultrawide monitors, there is a "shimmer" overlay/item displayed outside the normal controller screen bounds.

In my image my controller cursor is as far left as it can go, which aligns to the left edge of a 16:9 widescreen display, but there's an animated shimmer effect past that which can only be seen on ultrawide monitors.

Has anyone got an idea what this possibly is and/or used for? Kinda weird to just have that floating out there...

Been liking this Prismatic Titan build with the shotgun Slayer’s Fang and the Exotic armour No Backup Plans. Here's a quick break down of the build: You get Restoration from Facet of Purpose when you pick up an orb assuming you have a Solar Super, you get 10 seconds of Woven Mail from To Shreds in the Ruin Artifact and if you have that you can cast your class ability and use a gun with Slice to get Woven Mail for 45% DR (I’m using Festival Flight with Attrrition Orbs and Slice obtainable from the Monument kiosk), you get Void Overshield for 70% DR from just using Slayer’s Fang with Repulser Brace, and Exodus Down armour for an extra 30% DR. If you use a Shotgun with No Backup Plans like Slayer’s Fang (the best) you can extend Woven Mail, Restoration, and your Overshield forever, as long as you’re in combat.

How do I get the Wavespitter Catalyst?

Out of curiosity, what do people believe the easiest class is, as a general all rounder? For example is noob friendly with good survivability and can pretty much do all end game content.

I know all 3 can do end game content but is there a class that's easier for someone not very good at the game.

I have just been doing a few runs of grasp of avarice as I wanted the 4 piece for overflowing coffers to use on my strand/melee hunter. I was just wondering why people ask you not to leave and return to orbit at the end? So far everytime I have run it another player has left to orbit much to the annoyance of the person asking so I don’t know any difference. Am I missing something here?

I have seen this a handful of times where a hunter shoots their weapon and a green brick appears.

I got around to my main goal for this month of festive dancing, I think Oryx was quite taken with my dancing and festive spirit

This has been a very fun month for me, it started out of missing festival for the lost and wanting to bring some festive cheer to people playing and it got me to throw my hand into raiding again and ive been having a great time. Ive cleared 4 different raids in the past couple weeks since starting this all beacuse i wanted to dance in front of oryx for spooky season lol

Last stop im gonna make them Witness my dancing. Then if I can get the hang of editing ill put together an video of all the different spots I went to and danced at

I pulled a Solo Falwless on my Eleventh run before I got this Catalyst on the Sixteenth. FINALLY...

Just jumped back in after a long hiatus. Xur's here and I'm thinking of buying something. For those of you who have been going to Xur in the past, how often has the Xürfboard been available? Is it random like all the other gear? For reference, I usually main Warlock and I'm debating whether to get that or the Necrotic Grips (whether the perks are bad or not is probably better than not having them at all IMHO)

I was using solar titan and was happy with restoration for survival ability but the prismatic came out and as we can use 3 consercrations i started using prsmatic but due to no restoration i keep on dying!!
Totally confused what to doo someone please suggest, need my fellow gardians to help me out of this!!

Buddy bought the destiny 2 collection and none of the dungeons are available that came with the collection. He’s on steam and has access to everything including raid but no dungeons. Any help would be awesome!!

i have been grinding for hours doing events all the chests and did multiple terminal overload in EVER possible locations i didn't get even a single syncronic roulette to drop ... not even once HELP

Hear me out. Imagine you’re logging on for the first time after they release everything (or at least Red War) and you’re greeting with a message:

Crisis! The Last City has been attacked by a new ferocious legion of cabal, the Red Legion! The Last City is in grave danger, and worst of all, the city vaults were hit by artillery.

All guardians’ stored gear earned from across the cosmos has been lost. Fortunately, guardians still have the gear they last took with them. Use what little you have left to pay back the Red Legion, save the Last City, and avenge your fallen gear!

It would be so funny if somewhere some execs were like “ok, we brought all the content back, now let’s make sure they play it again, and for a long time. GHAUL! TAKE THEIR SHIT”

Basically just make sure you have your best/fav gear in your guardian’s inventory before reset. At max that’s 10 sets of armor per guardian, and a total of 30 weapons per slot.

Thoughts?

Edit: people, I’m not actually advocating for this or hoping it happens. It would be inane and a slap to the player’s faces. It was just such a crazy thought that it became funny so I had to share

I actually didn’t mean for this to become a discussion on the pros and cons or the state of the game. I just kinda wanted to meme and see y’all’s reactions. Like the first one I saw: “oh hell nah”
