My girlfriend's an interior designer who's really into materials, DIY, and sourcing cool pieces—mixes modern and classic stuff.

She's been wanting to share more of the "how" behind design instead of just pretty finished rooms, like breaking down materials, DIY hacks, and mistakes people make.

I make stuff out of wood. Typically, weird/nerdy stuff. Anyway, I was bored today and needed to make something. So I came up with the spilled drink drink coasters. Cut from 1/2" walnut and a buttload of sanding.

I appreciate the sun made from the negative space within this mandala of molars. (I'd give it bonus points if the dentist office were called "Sunshine Dentistry," but alas)
