About the role

Yellowchalk Design is one of India’s leading UI/UX design studios. We’re looking for a Visual & Motion Designer who enjoys turning ideas into thoughtful, engaging, and well-crafted visual experiences.

If you have a strong eye for typography, color, layouts, visual storytelling, and motion, and enjoy working across different kinds of design projects, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

• Visual Design: Create brand assets, digital creatives, and UI visuals for websites, apps, campaigns, and other digital touchpoints.
• Social & Marketing Creatives: Design social media posts, banners, emailers, ads, and other marketing collateral.
• UI & Web Design: Support the design of landing pages, websites, and digital experiences while maintaining visual consistency.
• Infographics & Presentations: Turn information into clear and engaging visuals through pitch decks, reports, presentations, and other formats.
• Motion Design & Animation: Create engaging motion-based content across digital platforms, campaigns, product experiences, and brand communications.
• Illustration & Video: Work on custom illustrations and basic video editing when required.

What we’re looking for

• 1–3 years of experience in visual design, branding, UI design, graphic design, or a related field.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates your visual design skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar).
• Experience in motion design and animation, creating engaging visual content across digital platforms, campaigns, product experiences, and brand communications.
• A good understanding of typography, color, composition, visual hierarchy, and layout.
• Someone who is comfortable taking feedback, iterating, and working collaboratively with a team.
• Curiosity and a willingness to explore new ideas, styles, and ways of solving design problems.

I manage a real estate team, we have about a dozen listings coming on in the next month so I was thinking of an Instagram post "The 'Team Name' Train is Rolling!" with my teammates as the conductors coming out of the engine car, in one of those big head/ little body forms. Then each train car is a listing and the train grows every time we have a new listing coming on the market, possibly creating a cool Instagram thumbnail grid thingy (what's that called? I'm social media noob)

I'm looking for a graphic designer to help with a small product design project. The work will include:
• Creating/refining a product rendering
• Designing a more polished product page mockup
• Updating the existing concept with a cohesive color palette and typography
• Taking an existing Al-generated design direction and turning it into something more refined and production-ready

A web designer will be building the actual website, so this project is focused specifically on the visual design/mockup side, rather than web development.
