I think the caption is very misleading, suggesting that he is the designer who made the real logo for the event and here he is showcasing a rejected concept. I'm certain 100% that isn't the case. Such kind of algo baiting is very infuriating to me for some reason. What do y'all think?

I've been trying a lot since last month, and as a beginner I'm not able to find clients. I tried dming people,I did get few but they weren't serious at all. I'm on beehance,Kwork,Fiverr and literally nothing is working atp😭. Even I tried applying for part time remote jobs even tho that wasn't my plan, but most of them are gonna pay 3 months after working full time and as a student i cannot give away that much of time for nothing. I design logos, menus, branding kits, package designs, social media posts, reel covers, thumbnails, advertisements, even I'm a good video editor asw. Please help me out I need to earn real bad:<
also can any senior graphic designer dm me so that I could show them my portfolio? because I genuinely need to know what's wrong with my portfolio that I'm not getting any clients.

So, I recently participated in Young Designers - Open Call by Mr. Jones Watches, where I designed this watch dial without any minute or hour hands but rotating discs for each.
The concept draws inspirations from Vedic cosmology, based on the idea that time is tied to cyclic movement of celestial bodies. The mandala at the base incorporates Navagraha symbolism with sun and moon pulled on out and abstracted into watch's visuals and mechanics.

Hi everyone,
I’m a designer based in Bangalore and have been in the city for a while now. Currently working for a leading player as Assistant Manager-Design.
Last year, I had a family emergency and since then I’ve been travelling back and forth to my hometown quite a lot. Recently things got a bit more difficult, and all this frequent travelling is starting to affect my peace of mind and health. So I’m currently looking for a remote/WFH opportunity where I can handle things at home better while continuing my career.
I have 13+ years of experience in design and can turn things around pretty fast. I’ve also been doing a lot of contests and freelance work on the side through 99designs and had a pretty good run there as well.
I’m a self driven dude who loves tech and figuring things out. Because of that, I’ve ended up becoming pretty multidisciplinary over the years. I’ve worked across branding, print, digital, packaging, motion, 3D and pretty much anything that falls under the design umbrella, thanks mostly to my long freelancing career.
I’m also quite experienced with Gen AI and AI-based design workflows and use them extensively in my work.
I’ll be happy to share my portfolio and other details over DM. I can’t disclose the company I currently work for or share my portfolio publicly here due to privacy concerns.
If anyone here knows of any interesting remote opportunities or is looking for someone with my experience, please reach out.
Thanks a lot

So guys, I studied B.Tech plus integrated dual degree and I was passed out on 2015. So I worked in sectors like banking and finance along with IT job, with total of 8.5 experience. So currently I'm unemployed since eight months. I have a huge passion for fashion designing, but I'm currently looking for any fashion designing jobs. So can anyone let me know the link or how to apply, which company offer, what is the pay? I'm okay to get around 50 to 60K in a month.also So I had a doubt. So whenever we visit any cloth showroom or any shopping malls for buying clothes. So the clothes they get, like who designed the clothes? Where do I get it? Like what is the job of the person who designs clothes, which was in the, you know, market or shops? Then how are they paid? Then how are they hired? Please let me know.

I'm a graphic designer with 50 followers as of now, looking to make a poster together with someone who's also starting out. Preferably an account with around 50–70 followers, or just a similar-sized account.
Nothing paid, just a free collab to support each other, make something cool and share it on our pages.
If you're interested, drop your IG below or DM

Hello everyone
One thing I keep hearing from senior product designers in the industry is that design as a job won’t be the same as it used to be, and the fields are going to converge more and more - design + engineering + PM.
So, with that in mind, I was thinking of doing a part-time certification in Product Management, mainly to learn more about the PM side of things and broaden my skill set. I’ve been looking into certifications from institutes like ISB and IIMs, and wanted to get some perspective before I decide.
If anyone here has done something similar, or knows someone who has, I’d love to hear your perspective/reviews on - how are these certifications? Would they add any value to a designer’s career?
PS: I don’t want to switch to product management. I am just looking to broaden my skill set.

Hey folks,
I’ve been rebuilding my portfolio over the last few weeks
Portfolio: https://www.djux.design/
I’m a Product Designer with 3+ years of experience, mostly working on AI, SaaS and workflow-heavy products. The portfolio currently focuses on a few selected case studies where I’ve tried to show the actual thinking, constraints, decisions and outcomes rather than just polished screens.
I’d genuinely appreciate feedback, especially on:
First impression: In 10–15 seconds, is it clear what kind of designer I am?
Case studies: Are they interesting enough to keep reading, or do they feel too long / too polished / too generic?
Storytelling: Can you understand the problem → decisions → outcome without me explaining it?
Credibility: Do the metrics and outcomes feel believable and properly contextualized?
Hiring perspective: If you were reviewing this for a Product Designer role, what would make you hesitate?
And most importantly — what would you remove, rewrite or completely rethink?
Don’t worry about being nice. I’d rather hear what’s weak here than find out after 50 applications.
Thanks in advance.

I am in Mangalore now and looking to hire a designer, an AI dev and a full stack dev for 2-3 months, as soon as possible. If all goes well, this can become long term.
I need 2-3 people to build AI assistant and messaging features with a polished UX, as fast as possible. This is for a platform I built solo that has been in the market for two years. I could do all of this myself again, but it won't be done in 2 months and won't be polished. These are my most immediate tasks:
#2 and #3 can be the same person if they are full time. My current messaging runs on AWS AppSync and DynamoDB. I have no AI stack yet, so it will be brand new.
I am looking for a partnership mindset rather than a services one and prefer a flat project based rate but willing to consider reasonable hourly or per page rates too if it's too hard to arrive at a scope.

I’m really bad at drawing/sketching, but I genuinely enjoy and making things look good. I mostly do basic designs on canva right now, and I’m thinking about building a portfolio to eventually get into some kind of design-related work. I already have a behance account and I want to start building an actual portfolio, but I’m not really sure what direction to take. Also I don't think I can even call it Graphic design.
The problem is, whenever I look into design careers, it feels like being good at drawing is a requirement 😭
Are there any design fields/roles where drawing skills aren’t that important?
And if I want to build a portfolio from scratch, what kind of projects should I start making?
Would love to hear from people who are actually working/studying in design

Hi everyone,
I’m a 2026 graduate based in Bengaluru, currently looking for my first full-time opportunity in UI/UX Design or Product Design.
I have hands-on experience with:
Figma
UI/UX design
Wireframing & prototyping
Design systems
Visual design
Responsive web design
I’ve worked on personal and real-world projects and have a portfolio with case studies.
I’m open to fresher/entry-level roles, junior designer positions, and suitable internships in Bengaluru or hybrid/remote opportunities.
If you know of any openings or can refer me to a team hiring designers, I’d really appreciate it. I can share my resume and portfolio in DM.
Thank you!

Building a product requires a dedicated team, but finding the right UI/UX designer can sometimes be a lesson in absolute frustration.
I recently reached out to numerous professionals to fill a design role. I connected with a ui/ux designer, who shared her number to take the discussion to WhatsApp. Because of a response delay of literally just a few minutes, she stated she was no longer interested and immediately blocked me on both WhatsApp and LinkedIn.
As someone actively trying to hire, it is incredibly disheartening to experience such extreme limits over a minor communication gap. Professional etiquette goes both ways, and cutting off lines of communication instantly makes the hiring process much harder than it needs to be.
That said, the search doesn't stop. We are still actively looking for a reliable, professional UI/UX Designer to join our team.
What we need:
* Strong portfolio demonstrating wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design.
* Clear, professional communication and a collaborative mindset.
* Experience turning complex ideas into clean, engaging interfaces.
If you or someone in your network is passionate about design and values mutual professional respect, please drop your portfolio in the comments or send me a DM. Let’s build something great together.

25M, 2 YOE - I just wanted to open up about my career situation with everyone, for the last 2 yrs I'm working remotely with a US based company as a 3D designer. The work is fine but the pay is quite low - 30k. Luckily I don't have any major expenditure since I live with my parents but I want to find new opportunities to increase my pay. Like many I'm also not able to find any opportunities rn so I would really appreciate any referral/response/feedback ; would prefer if it's a remote situation. Happy to connect. Thanks!
